Heritage Park is an exciting new community with a range of two, three and four bedroom homes in the bustling market town of Watton.
This collection of 80 exquisite homes, set in over 15 acres of new public open space, have been architecturally designed to incorporate modern technologies making them both practical and energy efficient. The carefully considered interiors offer flexibility to suit all lifestyles, many of the properties include a space for a home office or study.
Amenities
Watton is a traditional market town boasting an array of shops including well-known High Street brands alongside independent retailers, suppliers of local produce, pubs, eateries, supermarkets and convenience stores.
Local schools cover all stages of education and other amenities include Watton Medical Centre, Dental Surgery, Library and Veterinary Practice.
Surrounded by an abundance of open green spaces, including the neighbouring Wayland Wood, and yet ideally located for the town centre and with easy access to both Thetford and Norwich, at Heritage Park you won’t need to compromise.
Watton and The Surrounding Area
Watton’s blissful setting is enough reason to love the area but, the town also integrates history and unexpected characteristics making this a very desirable place to call home.
For sports enthusiasts, there is Richmond Park Golf Club and the Watton Sports & Social Club, which runs a host of classes across indoor and outdoor facilities.
In the heart of the town stands the impressive Watton Clock Tower, a listed structure dating from 1679 that was built to house a warning bell after a major fire in 1674 had destroyed over 60 buildings.
The nearby Wayland Wood is one of the largest woods in Norfolk and dates back to the 10th century. It has some gripping folklore and is the alleged site of the ‘Babes in the Wood’ legend, with the two ‘babes’ depicted on the Watton town sign.
Watton has a thriving community which comes together for the annual Wayland Show, one of the oldest agricultural events in the country with livestock and falconry exhibitions, vintage vehicles and tractors, arts and crafts and regional food and drink.
Watton Clock Tower
Norwich and Norfolk
Norwich is around a 45-minute drive from Watton and provides a huge range of activities and facilities that you would expect in a vibrant city including award-winning gastro pubs and restaurants, bars, shopping, theatre and cinemas, galleries featuring both traditional and contemporary art and a wide mix of sporting events and venues.
South of Watton is the large town of Thetford, home to the expansive Thetford Forest, the largest man-made lowland forest in the UK, which offers plenty of choice for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders as well as great spots to settle down for a picnic.
Heading to the East you can relax among the tranquil network of rivers and lakes of the Norfolk Broads from Wroxham or, continue, and enjoy the beaches along the Norfolk Heritage coastline.

Enhancing the Community
A Residents’ Management Company will supervise day-to-day aspects of the development so that residents can actively contribute to the environment in which they live. This will include managing the private roads, some shared accessways and refuse collection points, the parking court, service strips and landscaped areas. An annual fee will cover the cost of these services. The public open space will be adopted and managed by the Town Council who will be responsible for its maintenance.
Our
Commitment
Alongside our objective to deliver high quality homes backed up by excellent customer service is our commitment to creating sustainable communities, with the adoption of modern technologies to ensure energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. Across our developments, landscape designs incorporate ecological and biodiversity features such as wildflower meadows, wildlife habitats and extensive recreational spaces. For more than 75 years, as a company we have been a responsible custodian of the areas we develop throughout East Anglia, which have become lasting legacies – for our customers to enjoy and of which our team can be proud.
