AFS-2-new Design AFS-2 is the culmination of two years of development. Our goal was to provide a foil combines accessibility and amazing performances. We developed this foil in partnership with Marc Ménec and Tanguy Le Bihan, naval architects specialized in the design of foils, and Foil and Co, a production plant based in Brittany. The AFS-2 is very tolerant, highly stable, and especially high performance at every point of sails (Vmax>30nds, Vmoy>25nds in 15-18knts of wind) Its design has been developed to be mounted on classic series boards (Deep Tuttle box). Thanks to its 3 sets of wings (550/700/850), it can be used in the wind range 6-30 nds, regardless of the rider’s gauge. Shaft lenght : 92,5cm. Fuselage lenght : 85cm. Construction For this new series of foils, we wanted to relocate production in France. The construction is 100% carbon prepeg T700. The assembly is made in three parts, by a conventional mounting system with screws. AFS-1 / AFS-1 MK2-new AFS-1 Design The AFS-1 is the first foil putted into production, and it remains more than ever thanks to its strengths which do not always deny: -Windfoil and SUPfoil versatility -take off at very low speed (5nds of real speed, soft waves of small size) -Ultra-Lightwind capabilities. AFS-1 Mk2 design Based on the AFS-1, the front wing is different. It is a new profile, benefiting from years of development, which booste the AFS-1 in its version windsurf. With this wing, the AFS-1 (in use windsurf foil) is easier, more tolerant, faster, and more powerful to the near, without losing its starting qualities at very low speed. This new front wing MK2 is available as a unit for windsurfers already equipped with an AFS-1. AFS-1 / AFS-1 MK2 BOARDS-new AFS-1 board : The AFS-1 is the first board specifically developed for the foil, and is still as effective and versatile with its moderate volume, its specific shape with its hole on the nose, which helps control in the medium wind by decreasing the grip while maintaining the advantages of a good length of rails to optimize the planning and soft landings. AFS-1 MK2 board : The AFS-1 MK2 is our latest and most specific shape dedicated to windsurf-foil. With more volume, it has been developed by integrating the constraints induced by the new generation of foils and the new formats of competitions (jibe, reaching ...). Planning is faster, easier, and the flat deck with the specific shape of the rails under the heels promotes a perfect transmission of strength and power for more control and performance. We have kept the advanced gear position to facilitate the flight in the very light wind and learning. Available in «School finish» reinforced. Sealion Wings The Sealion Concept has nothing to prove ! Stand Up Paddle, windsurf freeride / wavesailing, this is the ultimate windsup. To push the experience further, we have added a foil box on it. We can now do everything with one board. Light wind wave riding, classic freeride, stand up paddle surf, foil windsurfing on flat water, stand up paddle foil, no limits ! FOIL FRIENDLY BOARDS-new SL2 - Freerace Slalom At AHD, we think that, to make the most of a slalom shape and perform to the max, the shape must remain smooth to ride, comfortable in the chop and provide a sound curve in the jibe, so that you can sail at 100% from the hit start till the end. That is with this in mind that we have developed our SL2s, together with Diony Guadagnino, and obtained a board which has shined on World Cup slalom races as well as in long distance races such as the “Défi Wind”.
