The FLY Initiative stands out as Rhode Island’s premier all-inclusive personal finance program, setting the gold standard in financial literacy for students in underserved communities. Having already impacted over 4,000 individuals in a short time, FLY is rapidly growing. Dedicated to creating systemic change, FLY advocates for financial education for all individuals in RI and ending generational poverty.

FLY’s goal is to reverse the financial literacy deficit that impairs reaching life’s most important financial goals: significant purchases (house, car); acquiring a meaningful, rewarding, fulfilling career; and actively exercising healthy financial practices (investments, savings/borrowing money). Financial capability will empower individuals with knowledge, skills, and resources. Having access to educational and professional financial resources will translate to opportunities that typically evade many people.
