CARE Comes To CARY! Award winning Plastic Surgeons Brian Coan, M.D. and Michael Zenn, M.D. announce the relocation of CARE Plastic Surgery in August 2017. These two board certified plastic surgeons were trained at Duke and Harvard, and have a combined 30+ years of experience with plastic and reconstructive surgery. CARE Plastic Surgery founder, Dr. Brian S. Coan, is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He received his undergraduate degree from the MIT and graduated from University of Chicago Medical School after which he completed both general surgery and plastic surgery residencies, the latter at Duke University.
Dr. Coan has won awards for his bedside manner and surgical skill and was featured on the television show, “The Doctors”, in 2016. Dr. Michael Zenn has been practicing in the Triangle since 1996. He started his career as a plastic surgeon at UNC Chapel Hill and was recruited to Duke University in 2000, where he spent the last 17 years as Vice Chief of Plastic Surgery and Director of the Duke Plastic Surgery Residency Program. At Duke, he achieved his academic career goal of Full Professor of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Zenn is internationally renowned for for his artistry, compassion, and beautifully natural cosmetic results.
