Facts On 3 May 2006, an argument arose between municipal police officers, flower vendors, and members of the People’s Front in Defense of the Land in the Texcoco local market. The violent clashes that followed resulted in multiple injuries, two deaths, and numerous arrests. Eighty-three persons were arrested, among them Yolanda Muñoz Diosdada, Ana María Velasco Rodríguez, Angélica Patricia Torres Linares, María Patricia Romero Hernández, and María Cristina Sánchez Hernández.
