Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
Earlier in the month, many tenants took part in a variety of activities and events to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, marking her record-breaking 70-year reign on the British throne.
The Parkside Knitting Club got to work and created some wonderful red, white, and blue bunting which Garry hung in his office and showed off in a selfie!

Tenants at St. Bartholomew's and Coombe Drive enjoyed a coffee morning with Jubilee cakes arranged by our Community Engagement team, who kindly delivered 18 cakes to our HomePlus schemes.
Jubilee tree planting
Recent storms sadly brought down the only remaining Rowan tree in Rowandean, so tenants came together, picked up a spade and planted a new one provided by Two Rivers Housing.
The planting also marked the Queen's Green Canopy, an initiative created to encourage people across the UK to plant trees to mark the Jubilee celebrations.
