WINTER CAMPAIGN NEW

WITH Christmas and the New Year around the corner, and the new collection to give to the world, Tresor Paris is excited to announce the unveiling of the new ‘Dream’ campaign. As the production team arrived at the Central London studio there was a sense that something special was going to be achieved. Speaking to Chief Designer Lilian Lousky, she says of the shoot; “We felt a new campaign was needed to match our new and exciting collection.” Shot by renowned fashion photographer Carlos Lumiere, who has previously worked with Harpers Bazaar, the ‘Dream’ campaign aims to showcase the diversity of the Tresor Paris his and hers Constellation collections (Neptune, Triton, Orion and Cygnus) with a set of fresh images.

Lumiere shoot would focus on expressing a sense of timeless beauty through his images. Laurentino Azevedo, the campaign’s Creative Director tells us; “We have a very strong product in our hands to a large degree the jewellery sells itself ”. For this campaign he decided to go with a contrast to the product itself and opt for simple styling with elegant clothing. A variety of high-end designer wear was used for the shoot, including a few pieces from the SS2012 collection by young Londonbased designer Tosha. We asked how the shoot was going Laurentino replied; “We are all working hard to make this campaign a real hit. The vibrant colours of the jewellery are going to be a major factor in the success of the shoot”. Continued pages 8-9

hile I was away people kept on asking me about Tresor Paris. They kept on saying the same things – that they have seen the iconic bracelets everywhere and how amazing they looked; and this was on the other side of the world, Australia to be precise. And that made me think – the brand has achieved so much in such a short space of time. The Tresor Paris brand has been going for 11 months and the creative team only 6 months. So as the year draws to a close, I would like to take a few moments to highlight and review Tresor Paris News. Our very first issue kicked off with the boy band JLS on the front cover. Over the past few months the boys have been very supportive and huge fans of the brand wearing the bracelets at every opportunity. We can only say a big thank you to the band for all their support. They have got a busy year a head in 2012 with the start of their UK and European tour due to kick off in March. Also in issue one was the Richard Blackwood article charting his rise/fall and rise to celebrity stardom. The article told how RB found success in the early 2000’s only to see his world crumble leaving Richard jobless and on the dole. Fortunately for Mr Blackwood everybody deserves a second chance and Richard got another bite at the cherry and is now successfully staring in the hit west end musical, ‘Shrek’ alongside Girls Aloud Star Kimberley Walsh. It was also a great pleasure to meet Nigerian R&B singer ‘Dare Art Alade’. The singer who had recently collaborated with American R&B sensation Alicia Keys was in London shooting his new video and decided to pop into our Hatton Garden showroom.

Another highlight of 2011 has to be the MOBO awards. For the second year running this event was held in the SECC Arena, Glasgow. The award ceremony did not fail to live up to expectations. The star studded event attracted the cream of the R&B and grime world with stars such as Alexis Jordan, Fazer from N Dubz and the legendary American boy band Boyz II Men. With awards on the night going to Tinchy Stryder and Dappy, Tinie Tempah and queen of the night Jessie J who scooped a record four awards. It was also the year Tresor Paris debuted at the jewellery trade show International Jewellery London (IJL). The event held over four days at Earls Court 2. It was an opportunity for over 1 million eager buyers ready to secure the ‘next big thing’. Needless to say, Tresor Paris were the Belle of the ball having by far the busiest stand making the front page of the trade show paper numerous times with visits to the stand from grime star and MOBO award winner Tinchy Stryder. It was also the opportunity to launch and showcase the new edition to the Tresor Paris PR team – The Tresor Paris Bus. The new vehicle was refurbished and kitted out to mirror the luxurious Tresor Paris showroom with pods included. Since its launch the bus has been a great success being rolled out on a number of occasions – notably the Tresor Paris Press day and the IJL Jewellery London show. This year has also been a time for collaborations, with Tresor Paris teaming up with the charity Breast Cancer Care to produce a bespoke bracelet. The bracelet comes with three different cord colours white, pink and black with the trademark pink ribbon handcrafted onto a single crystal sphere. The bracelets are now available online as well as specially selected Tresor Paris stockist around

Following on from the ‘J Summer’ fashion show, management and founder Jessica Minh Anh pulled out all the stops and hosted this extravagant event at the Tower Bridge, with views stretching over the river Thames, the show was a huge success attracting celebrities, buyers and press alike. Moving on from J Autumn, it was a great privilege for Tresor Paris to be involved with the world famous beauty pageant Miss World. This year’s prestigious event was held at Earls Court 2. With 122 women taking part from all over the world - the eventual winner was Miss Venezuela. There have also been some coming and goings at Tresor Paris, with new additions Nicola Scott and Hannah Bailey to the creative team in the roles of Marketing Assistant and PR Assistant respectively. May I also welcome our Australian stockists and thank them for all their hospitality and help during my visit down under. With the festive season upon us and 2012 just around the corner, Tresor Paris already have some major events to look forward too, most notably our 1st year birthday and some major global events. 2012 is already shaping up to be an even greater success than 2011. I have added a few memorable pictures of 2011 from my personal folder I would like to share with you. Season’s greetings and best wishes for the festive season! Leroi Hanniford Editor

Legacy List AS mentioned in the last issue of Tresor Paris News, Tresor Paris donated a special edition bracelet worth over £2000 to The Legacy List charity event last month. The auction, named ‘100 things’ took place at 50 St. James Street and raised money for the upcoming Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Other auction items included a Tracey Emin piece of artwork, which sold for over £3000 and a signed Chelsea F.C shirt. Tracey Emin herself attended the event, along with the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, who gave a speech to all attendees.

CWAC CWAC TO commemorate World Aids Day, Tresor Paris are pleased to be designing a special edition bracelet for the Children With Aids Charity, also known as CWAC. CWAC is a UK charity which offers hardship grants and support to those infected or affected by HIV. The special edition bracelet will be available to purchsse online at www.tresorparis.com from December 2011 at the RRP of £49 with 25% of profits going directly to the charity. Keep in touch for more news regarding the bracelet.

Tamer Hassan ‘The Business’

Tamer Hassan is a man of many talents - formerly an actor, then businessman, Tamar has carved out an established acting career in more recent years and is now even charting as many women’s top crush. It is a safe assumption that this rugged actor, being born to a Turkish-Cypriot family, is a bit of eye-candy both on and off the screen. Having grown up in London with humble beginnings, Tamer has experienced both sides of city life – as a young boy, he was bullied and turned to boxing as a way to fight back. His record stood at a reputable 25-7 and he was only ever knocked-out once, scoring 15 knockouts to his opponents. Despite these achievements and enjoying his boxing experiences, Tamer was unfortunately injured and retired from the sport to instead, become a successful entrepreneur. After the demise of his boxing days, Hassan began running nightclubs and restaurants and today,

he is the owner and chairman of Greenwich Borough F.C. He also owns Eltham boxing gym, and has helped to produce talents such as Ian Wright and Henry Cooper. As well as dabbling in various business ventures, it was only since his later years that he began to consider acting a serious career option. After careful consideration, Tamer began to pursue an acting career and has since starred in The Business as well as playing a supporting lead role in The Football Factory with co-star Danny Dyer. Hassan and Dyer also starred together with rapper 50cent in Dead Man Running with Hassan playing the lead role. Tamer has also featured in films such as Layer Cake, The Calcium Kid and Unleashed - quite an achievement for a man who only picked up his acting career in later life. Fortunately, Tamer took time out of his busy schedule to pay the Tresor Paris Hatton Garden showroom a visit and bought with him his equally charming son, Taser Hassan. Both father and son were delighted with the Tresor Paris designs and left with a collection putting most of the Tresor Paris devotees to shame. Father and son left with a variety of the men’s pave set crystal bracelets from the Triton

BRUNO MARS THE 23-year-old singing sensation from Puerto Rico Bruno Mars flew into London last month for the UK leg of his tour. Still on a high from his triumph at the MTV EMAs 2011 were he picked up two gongs for “Best new artist” and “Best MTV Push Artist”. Bruno was taking a break from his tours when Tresor had a request to grace the wrist of Bruno with some eye-catching jewellery to take back to the US. They requested the ‘Rene’, which features black crystal spheres as

well as the ‘Paris’ with the blue crystal, they’re both finished with black tibetan cord and magnetite balls. Bruno has achieved a huge amount of success since starting his solo singing career and with the release of his latest album: Doo-Wops and Hooligans, it would seem that we have had just a small taste of his amazing talent. Not happy with just being a singer Bruno is also an accomplished pianist and guitarist. Having grown up in a musical family and performing from a very young age. Tresor Paris is pleased to have a fan in Bruno, as we are such big fans of his. And with fans like Bruno you can never go wrong.

WHO’S wearing Tresor Paris this month…? It was a welcome surprise to see a new series of the Channel 4 hit show ‘Shipwrecked’ back on our screen. I was even more thrilled to see the ‘Monaco’ bracelet had been stowed away only to appear on one of the contestants, that contestant being the gorgeous Anna 24, a model and businesswoman from London. Two of our biggest fans JLS and Tinchy Stryder were both out and about this month. JLS were sat on the BBC Breakfast News couch promoting their new single they are collaborating on with One Direction. While Tinchy Stryder was doing the rounds - popping up on Day Break to promote the community help organisation ‘Bigga Fish’ as well as appearing on “Children In Need Rocks Manchester” performing with The Collective’ promoting their single in aid of the charity. We seemed to have picked up a new fan in Tim Lovejoy, as he was cooking away on his Sunday morning show ‘Something For The Weekend’, he was seen flashing his TP bracelet. The 12 X Factor finalists were all out in force for a photo call for the M&S commercial for OK Magazine. Whilst over in Paris, the actor Lance Gross was playing the lead opposite Kelly Roland in her new video for the single “Here I am”. This was but a small selection of the many celebs rocking Tresor. Stay informed for next month to see who’s been wearing Tresor Paris.

collection including the ‘Hommert’ and the ‘Auteil’. Despite growing up on the ‘wrong side of town’, Tamer was born with a maturity that allowed him to overcome the bullying he experienced as a youth, which he later described as having left him “angry” and “disillusioned with the world”. It was this initial anger that he was able to channel into passion, allowing him to pursue a series of successful careers. Both Tamer and his son are currently working on new projects and are expected to be seen on screens after the New Year.

It’s a beautiful JUST like many of you, I too thought Miss World was no more - not being televised on terrestrial TV can have that impact on you. But to my joy the Miss World contest is still alive and going strong. For its 60th birthday the Miss World contest returned to its place of origin, our wonderful great city of London. After an absence of eight years, the Miss World franchise has come home, returning to our shores where it all started back in 1951. Created as part of the festival of Britain by Erick Marley the Miss World pageant was designed to bring something new in order boost the profile of London. The Miss world contest will again bring together over 120 delegates of some of the world most beautiful women showcasing thier intelligent, achevments and business-minds to compete for the prestigious crown. This is a long way from the 6 nations that took part in the original 1951 contest. With well over 100 nations taking part and over 1 billion viewers watching the contest worldwide. Who won? Well the eventual winner was the lovely dark haired Miss Venezuela who took home the crown. 21-year-old Miss Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares became the 60th Miss World. Coming from a family of 13 siblings, Miss Sarcos was raised in a nunnery from the age of 8 after losing her parents. Winning Miss World would give her the opportunity to do a lot of charitable work. She said “winning means everything to me and I hope to take advantage of being a winner in a productive manner. I’m unbelievably happy to have won and there were some incredible girls. I first and foremost want to help people in need. I would like to help people like me. I am an orphan. I would also like to help the elderly and the troubled teenagers. As many people as I can”. her tears of joy, as she was crowned winner. Although none of the UK representatives came in the top three, Miss England, Alize Lily Mounter came 4th and is now both Miss England and Miss World Europe. “Well done Alize we were all behind you” This year’s event was all the more spectacular with the presence of Tresor Paris, which is an amazing achievement for the brand, to add to the many highs of 2011. The presence of Tresor Paris at Miss World came about through the ideas from Sales and Marketing Director Lili John of the Sandstorm Boutique swimwear brand and Marketing Manager of Tresor Paris, Bobby Leslie. Sandstorm was already known for working with celebrities and with some of the contestants of the Miss World contest, most notably Miss England and Miss Ireland. They were approached by the Miss World organisation to dress all 122 for the swim wear fashion show and after seeing the amazing new Tresor Paris A/W 2011 collection, Mrs John felt that Tresor Paris would be a perfect fit to adorn the contestants for the swimwear fashion stage of the contest. Not only would this collaboration enhance the swimwear it also put Tresor Paris into the living rooms of

homes around the world. The evening got off to a great start with an amazing performance by the sensational dance group Diversity. Their performance could only be topped the beauty and elegance of the Miss world contestants. To be followed by an outstanding performance from the group Blue who never seem to disappoint with their flawless vocals of their hit single “Sorry”. After more than 50 years the Miss World contest is still proving to be a show that people long to see and young women dream of winning. With spectacular performances, great acts and beautiful women, the Miss World contest never fails to deliver. With a newly crowned Miss World (Miss Venezuela) and new Miss England & Europe (Miss Alize Lily Mounter), we wish you both a successful year.

KATIE ELIZAROVA is a name you ought to remember – this Russian model is hitting the big time and taking Tresor Paris along for the ride. The 25 year-old model and ‘muse’ to fashion designer Leon Max has just been signed as the new face of his multinational fashion house Max Studio and since then, has been in a whirlwind of exclusive parties and industry events. Before attending the Russian Standard Vodka ‘Circus on Ice’ party, Katia popped into the Tresor Paris showroom to select a few pieces of high-end jewellery – fit for an international model of course. Taking place on the 17th November, the ‘Circus on Ice’ was held in London’s Canary Wharf and included a host of celebrities as well as a special DJ set from KISS FM’s DJ Neev. The set of ‘Cirque De Glace’ performed spellbinding shows and the event proved a great success, with Katia opting to wear a variety of jewellery from the Tresor Paris Neptune and Orion collections. Katia is no stranger to life’s little luxuries and having worked with brands including Versace, Chanel and Victoria’s Secret (we know!), she knows a thing or two about fashion. Despite appearing in Tatler, InStyle, Marie Claire and GQ, Katia is refreshingly down-to-earth. Having fronted campaigns for Tony & Guy and GHD,

IT’S that time of year again and the best reality show of all time has been and gone and satisfied our ‘guiltypleasure’ TV fix; Dougie Poynter has just been crowned King of the I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here jungle alongside two of Tresor Paris’ favourite contestants, Mark Wright and Sinitta . Having volunteered themselves for the 2011 series, poor Sinitta braved the trials despite her fear of creepy crawlies whilst TOWIE’s Mark Wright was seen stirring up romance rumours with fellow contestant and Australian beauty Emily Scott. The pair have both done extremely well and will no doubt be rewarding themselves with a few luxuries on leaving the jungle. Sinitta is now back to civilization and here’s betting she can’t wait to hit the shops. No doubt Mark is glad to have left the jungle too, and is extremely proud of being runnerup. Nanny Pat better prepare some home comforts and make room for s possible future romance with Emily. Hopefully Mark and Sinitta will be treating themselves to some items from the new Tresor Paris collections to make up for their uniformed attire in the jungle! Fingers crossed they don’t stay away too long and return back to our screens for more entertainment...

Katia is used to being styled to the finest finish and she couldn’t wait to let loose with a selection from the different collections. Deciding on sky-blue, Katia opted for the ‘Arles’ bracelet with matching ‘Mauran’ drop down earrings as well as the double-tiered ‘Villefranche’ pearl bracelet from the new ‘Cygnus’ collection. Perfect for the frosty winter ahead – and no doubt her time back in Russia over the holiday period! With Max Studio having launched just last month, Katia appeared in an impressive 12-page spread in Hello! Magazine, telling of her new role as the face of the brand and also as Brand Ambassador, replacing past faces Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Lily Cole. Katia is not only competing with these two top models but also belongs to IMG – the same agency that represents Giselle Bundchen, Kate Moss, Lara Stone and Heidi Klum. Talk about pressure! Fortunately, Leon Max chose Katia to represent his brand and has spoken of her as “a radiant young woman who embodies modern femininity and style to perfection”. Tresor Paris couldn’t agree more - Katia ensures she looks her best at all times, and what better way to do so than by accessorising with a variety of pieces from the Tresor Paris collection.

Be it dazzling with quality crystals or making a statement with classic pearls, the bracelets in the ‘Cygnus’ collection are sure to get you noticed this year. Elegance is the theme of the ‘Cygnus’ collection, with all bracelets having been finished with black diamonds, sterling silver spheres and finally, completed with an 18ct white gold plate. major feature within the ‘Cygnus’ collection, the freshwater pearl was key to creating such an elegant collection of bracelets. Understanding the origin of the freshwater pearl is essential to be able to appreciate the true quality and craftsmanship that goes into each Tresor Paris bracelet. First discovered thousands of years ago, the pearl has since brought about many connotations of class and elegance and the same is true of its symbolism today. There are two main types of pearl – cultured and natural. The cultured pearl, especially the freshwater variety, in most recent years, has become popular with designers and the younger generations – a perfect fit for Tresor Paris’ new collection. Freshwater pearls come from mussels and having originated in America and Japan, they are now farmed mainly in Asia. They occur not only in hot climates but also in colder temperatures such as those lakes and rivers found in Scotland, though Scottish freshwater pearls are completely protected by the law. Over 10 years ago, the freshwater pearl production industry shifted and the pearls that

are now processed are fewer, but of higher quality. Freshwater pearls appear in a wide variety of colours and they are also very durable, resisting chipping, wear and degeneration. They come in eight basic shapes; round, semiround, button, drop, pear, oval and circled, with perfectly round pearls being the rarest and most valuable of the eight. Despite the popular belief that all pearls are white, they can appear in pink, blue, green and purple but to collect a selection of these, it could take years! We quite like the traditional white too, as do many – Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn are just two of the long list of

style icons famous for their love of pearls. Elizabeth Taylor owned one of the world’s most famous pearls, the ‘La Peregrina’, which was discovered in the 1500’s in the Gulf of Panama and was previously owned by a long line of royalty. Mary Tudor, daughter of King Henry VIII owned the pearl before Elizabeth’s then-husband, Richard Burton bought it for her. Take note gentleman, pearl gifts are very well received. Audrey Hepburn also reinforced the glamour of the pearl and was seen wearing them in her most notable role as Holly Golightly in the classic 1960’s romantic comedy Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Unlike the myth that pearls are formed and found whole within a clam or a mussel, the freshwater pearl refining process has various stages – freshwater pearls in particular are typically bought whilst still inside the shell. They are then sent to a first-stage workshop, which cleans and sorts the pearls according to shape and size. Once this process has been completed, the pearls

receive a pre-treatment with warm and cold solutions. They are then finished into shape and polished with a combination of cornmeal and wax before being matched into strands, which are then considered ‘wholesale ready’. Evidently, each process differs depending on what type of pearl is being used but it is safe to say that owning pearl jewellery is a rare treat, with production being extremely concentrated. Drop or pear shaped pearls are often referred to as ‘teardrop’ pearls and are most likely to be used in earrings and pendants. ‘Baroque’ pearls have a different appeal, with their interesting shapes making them suitable for necklaces. The study of pearls is now so great, that jewellers are even able to perform an X-Ray to determine whether the pearl is natural or cultured. As well as the different varieties of pearls available, there is also the imitation pearl. Imitation pearls have become popular in more recent years with the rise in costume and fashion jewellery and though they may look the part, their quality is nowhere near a genuine pearl. Iitation pearls use materials such as mother-of-pearl, coral and conch but they do not have the same weight or smoothness as real pearls and their lustre will also dim greatly. Genuine pearls in whichever shape or form will never go out of style. A classic and graceful accessory, pearl jewellery will continue to be associated with style icons and will be fashionable forever.

He has had a lot of experience with many of the lead magazines around the world and says; “I now have the chance to develop with the Tresor Paris Collection and I feel very happy and strong about it”. He expects both the campaign and the brand to go very far; “I feel very passionate about Tresor Paris… With the market I am facing today it is incredible how I encounter so many people who love the merchandise and I feel 100% behind

Azevedo has had the chance of working with Fashion Photographer Carlos Lumiere before and admits he loves his work very much. Lumiere was extremely excited to be part of this campaign and Azevedo thinks it is fabulous that he has the opportunity of working with this talented photographer again. The video will be broadcast on the Tresor Paris website soon - watch this space... Finally, when asked what he thinks of the

future for Tresor Paris, Azevedo playfully answered “I see a very big future for Tresor Paris. What do you think...?” Make-Up Artist, Margo Holder describes how she started with light, natural make-up to match the scenery and proceeded with darkening the eyes and lips of our models for a more dramatic look to match the progress of the campaign throughout the day. When asked what she thinks of Tresor Paris, Holder responded with a very popular comment; “I love the jewellery brand and the colours. I have actually spotted some celebrities wearing the brand so before coming to the campaign shoot I was already quite familiar with Tresor Paris.” Graduating from the Institute Technique du Maquillage in Paris in 1998, Holder has been active for 15 years in the fashion

Margo loves being in the make-up world as she loves meeting and working with new people and expressing creative with colour. Her goal for the campaign was to keep the skin light with a naturally fresh glow so as not to take away from the Tresor Paris brand and the existing impact it has. Margo also commented on how nice it had been that the whole creative process was done with all participants cooperating so well together. The ‘Dream’ model and Brazilian beauty Michelle D. (22) reviewed that the day had been very nice and went smoothly; “The team has been great, and the jewellery being so unique and sophisticated has inspired me a lot today.” Brazilian model Vinicius thought highly of

the jewellery as well; “It’s the first time I got to see the Tresor Paris brand and I think it’s beautiful”, he mentions. Lilian gets her inspiration from all areas and having been in the jewellery business for quite a long time, she is able to use her past experiences as well as her travels to come up with new and innovative ideas. Lilian says her love of fashion is what really pushes her to strive with Tresor Paris. On reflection of the day spent creating the new campaign, Lilian was exhausted but also positive and enthusiastic; “It’s been a long day for everybody yet everything went very well - the team has been great and hopefully the results will show it… I am pleased to say Tresor Paris has been very successful so far and

we are hoping that we will be growing even more with the new campaign and with people getting to know our new design, I think it will go very far. “People are loving it and we have quite a few celebrities following the brand, so hopefully the more it’s seen out there and the more we present it in the right way, people will get to see how beautiful it really is.” Fashion Photographer, Carlos Lumiere agrees and had only kind words to say about the jewellery; “The Tresor Paris collection is amazing - I see it everywhere - airports, magazines, celebrities wearing it and I’m very proud to be shooting Tresor Paris today! It’s amazing, they look like little diamonds and I saw one today that I really wanted and got it”. Carlos Lumiere usually takes his inspiration from old movies and classical films, focusing on traditional elegance; “It’s like a little dream of a moment in history which I wasn’t part of but which I can recreate with my photography. “I like beauty and the perfection of details. These can give me inspiration anytime and anywhere.” The ‘Dream’ campaign will go live later this month and will be in full force by the New Year.

The fabulous Alexandra Burke won the competition but JLS won the nations hearts – it wasn’t the last we’d see of them! Now two years on the boys have released three fantastic albums, JLS, Outta This World and Jukebox, and have sold three million records and counting! Marvin told us he and the boys were gearing up for performances but he had taken time out of his busy schedule to come down to Tresor Paris. It meant we could give him an early Christmas present. The Oyonnax bracelet made from Red Turquoise Skull shaped beads matched his burgundy cardigan perfectly. It’s true what they say; no outfit is complete without the perfect accessory! We had to compliment him on another accessory; Marvin had an amazing pair of Louboutin animal trim high tops. Rochelle from girl band The Saturdays is a lucky lady having such a polite and stylish boyfriend! We wish them both, and the rest Marvin was delighted with his new Oyonnax of the Bracelet and Bonnemian JLS boys Necklace! (far right) a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Return of the

2011 has been a fantastic year for one of Tresor Paris’ biggest devotees, Richard Blackwood. The comedian-turned-DJ-turned-actor has come back with a bang and is now starring alongside Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden in the hit West End musical of Shrek. Richard is ecstatic with his new role as ‘Donkey’ as well as his relationship with Tresor Paris; “This time last year I was not working, now I’m doing projects with Tresor Paris… God is good.” Richard fully appreciates his success and having seen both highs and lows in his career; he often speaks of his fortune and his dedication to his work; “As I saw my career take off, the idea solidified for me that maybe I am blessed, I am special.” Richard, who began his career as a comedian with his own TV show ‘The Richard Blackwood Show’ aged 24, had no qualms about turning 40; “I am not fazed by my age because I don’t feel I’ve wasted any of my years. I am 6ft and I train practically every other day. I don’t drink or smoke, and I have never taken any form of drug.” Richard, who is also the stepbrother of supermodel Naomi Campbell, clearly takes care of his appearance and this shows in his style. Richard has been spotted on numerous occasions wearing an array of Tresor Paris designs and his son Keaun even has a collection too! Father and son were attending The Three Musketeers premier at the Shepherds Bush Westfield shopping centre and popped into the Tresor Paris showroom beforehand to accessorize their already uber-stylish outfits. For Richard, his faithful Les Rosaires rosary necklace and some new Breel black crystal earrings. The Les Rosaires is becoming a big hit at the moment, with its combination of white crystals, magnetite, black Tibetan cord and an attractive silver cross. The Breel are a safe but stylish choice – black studs that can be paired with all and everything. ‘Junior’ Blackwood Keaun followed in his father’s footsteps and sported the smaller version of Richard’s Sure bracelet – white crystal spheres alternating with magnetite balls and finished with the black Tibetan cord. He also wore

a single white crystal stud from the Tassily set. Like-father-likeson! Richard is no shrinking violet when it comes to expressing his style and he is a self confessed fashion follower willing to push boundaries that some may not; “My style says, “He knows what he’s doing, he’s very confident, he’s here to win.” Richard’s first favourite was the Grandchamp, which he cheekily flashed to viewers whilst appearing on Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff. As well as taking pride in his appearance, Richard is very keen to act as a role model to the younger generation, especially now that he is a father. He says that fame can cause problems if not handled accordingly. He advised, “Never believe your own hype and truly learn the business side of show business.” he says. As well as his current venture with Shrek, Richard also featured in the comedy spoof ‘Anuvahood’ that was released earlier this year. Appearing on the ITV show Loose Women, Richard chatted about his busy schedule and how happy he is that things are going so well. Richard told how he wouldn’t be the performer he is today if he hadn’t experienced a downfall a few years ago. Very playfully he joked, “I never got Loose Women last year”. Richard’s performance in Shrek seems to be very well received too with positive reviews from press such as “Big hit. Brilliant show. Tremendous” from the Daily Telegraph

Renowned for her raunchy stage performance outfits, Alexandra was the perfect choice to open the entertainment at Clothes Show Live earlier this month. Visiting the Tresor Paris showroom was another important date in her 2011 diary. Back in September the lovely Alex was given a special preview of the Neptune and Cygnus collections. She was delighted to have the opportunity to choose some beautiful new pieces to add to her already impressive Tresor Paris collection. With her next album in mind Alexandra decided to choose pieces that would attract attention. She decided to take the ‘Clamecy’ bracelet, consisting of 16 white crystals, 8 grey crystals and 6 magnetite stones. After breaking up with fellow cast member Gabriella Ellis, feeling that he may not be

straight, Ollie decided to try going on a date with a man he met in the park. Luckily there were no similarities to the George Michael Park incident! The relationship did not last and soon after the first series finished, big news hit the tabloids that he had started dating Topshop heiress Chloe Green. Many viewers of the show were shocked, believing it to be a rumor that he was gay. Chloe and Ollie continued to show off their matching ‘his and hers’ Nice bracelets, most recently spotted working the red carpet together as a couple at the Harry Potter premiere in London’s Leicester Square. Rumors then started circulating that Chloe would feature in the E4 the second series, people were glued to their seats as the love triangle between Gabriella, Ollie and Chloe keep explodes on screen. The producers predicted a clash with Ollie’s ex-girlfriend Gabriella and Chloe would erupt and it was worth every viewing minuet. As the second series of Made in Chelsea went head-tohead with rival ITV2’s reality show ‘The Only Way Is Essex’, the line has been drawn and fans of each respected show stand firm behind their favorite. There has been many comparisons made between the two shows, but MIC cast member states, “We use a similar setup but it’s a different type of drama really”

this time she was behind the judge’s table rather than performing in front of it! The X Factor judging panel had found themselves one short when Kelly Rowland was unable to fly back from the US in time to make the live show. Kelly, solo artist and former member of Destiny’s Child, flew back to America for a quick visit, only to be struck down with a severe throat infection. Advised by doctors to stay and recuperate there was a mad rush to find a replacement judge. In a buzz of media speculation Katy Perry, Cheryl Cole and Nicole Scherzinger were rumoured to replace Kelly on the shows Halloween special but who better to take the seat than a woman who has lived the contestants experience firsthand? Alexandra Burke stepped into Kelly’s shoes and gave much needed support, sharing her opinions and fighting for the girls! Rising to the challenge she gave constructive criticism and encouraging praise to the show’s contestants.

For this second season of the show that has recently ended, we have been fortunate that not only have all the girls been converted to Tresor Paris but also all the boys including, Spencer, Hugo and newest cast member Jamie have come to love the brand. Veteran cast member Hugo had previously mentioned that he wanted to see some fresh blood in the second season and we all got just that with the arrival of new cast members, Victoria Baker-Harber, Jamie Laing, Chloe Green, Oliver Proudlock and Louise Thompson. Now we know who they are and seen the relationship between them grow we can only hope for there to be a third series and for more sparks to fly. It has also be good to see our stars traveling abroad and enjoying the life we all dream about. More recently we were lucky to have Ollie Locke come into our showroom were he and his team came to have talk with the Tresor Paris team about the possibility of designing a limited edition range for Ollie. With Ollie being a huge fan we could not be happier with this prospects of such an exciting venture. To have Ollie wanting to collaborate with us is a huge compliment and an opportunity we could not say no to. Both the creative and the design team feel this could be a great addition to the current Tresor Paris collection and will no doubt bring a new element to Tresor Paris.

Although it has been an intensive year for her musical career Alexandra dedicated her time to many charitable organisations. Visiting Uganda on behalf of ‘Comic Relief ’ and also to raise awareness about the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which was on November 25th. While she was there Alexandra spoke to the women running the Mifumi project. The project supports women who are victims of domestic abuse and helps them escape the abusive relationships and focus on building a new start. Alexandra also took part in Children in Need’s and Debenhams ‘Celebrity Style Challenge’. Along with other famous faces including Chipmunk and Patsy Kensit, the celebs swapped their singing and acting jobs to become fashion designers. Alexandra was given the task of designing a party dress for the limited edition collection to be sold in Debenhams. Her eye for flirtatious and eye catching fashion came through in her design. Alexandra created a cowl neck silver mini dress with a gem embellished t-bar back detail. All profits from the celebrities’ collection went to the Children in Need appeal. The appeal had an incredibly successful year raising £26,332,334, an astonishing 8million more than 2010! Although her 2nd album has been pushed back until 2012, Alexandra has promised it will be worth the wait. As executive producer, she does not want to rush. We can’t wait to hear the follow up to her multi platinum album ‘Overcome’. The journey can only get better for the sensational singer Alexandra Burke!
