SCIENCES Students in the Sciences gain specialized knowledge and training they apply throughout their careers. Science degrees build a strong base of technical skills and expertise, including research and critical analysis, logic, reasoning, and problem solving. Graduates draw on their knowledge of scientific principles and apply their skill set to explain or resolve complex problems. Career opportunities are endless for graduates of Bachelor of Science degrees. Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (B.Sc.)

Biology (B.Sc.)

Without biochemistry, there is no life. Working in state-of-the-art facilities, you will gain a solid grounding in chemistry, biochemistry, genetics and cell biology. This program prepares you both technically and intellectually for advanced studies in this dynamic and ever-changing discipline.

The study of biology probes the entire diversity of life, from molecules to global ecosystems. Biology is central to understanding the most pressing of today’s concerns, from managing the spread of infectious diseases to feeding a planet of seven billion people. Through lectures, labs and fieldwork on Trent’s ecologically diverse campus, you will learn the underlying theories and concepts of biology and apply them to real questions and challenges, gaining the knowledge to solve the problems we face every day.
