Lone Pine Land Trust Lone Pine Marsh is a small land trust started in the mid-1990s by local resident Murial Braham, who was very fond of a marshland property she would pass by often. In 1991, she decided to purchase the property with the intention of stewarding it for its biological value. In 1996, she helped to form a not-for-profit land trust, which became the owner of the property. For the next 20 years she made and sold jam at countless local events to help pay for the property and in doing so became a well-known and well-loved local figure.

Trent Severn Waterway Take a pleasant walk along the Trent Severn Lock 9 near County Road 8 north of Ferris Provincial Park

Mill Creek Trail The trail has access from the bridge on Main Street in Warkworth, just off County Road 29.

Hastings Village Marina Hastings Village boasts a state-of-the-art marina situated on the south shore immediately above Lock 18. Located on more than 1,500 feet of manicured waterfront parkland, the marina boasts 64 slips catering to seasonal and transient boaters alike. Capable of accommodating yachts up to 90 feet in length, there is virtually no vessel travelling the Trent Severn Waterway it can’t host. Each slip offers 30 and 50-amp electrical hook-up, municipal water and pumpout. The facility is fully handicapped accessible, offers clean, spacious washrooms and showers, free hi-speed wireless internet, tourist information, friendly on-site attendants and easy access to downtown
