"Couture Styling but American Sizing."

Text By Tershara Matthews Serene, Delicate, Feminine, and Organic are all words that describe the Catherine Kowalski Bridal Collection. At a very young age, Catherine knew that she wanted to be a bridal designer. As a child, Catherine would make dresses for her dolls. Her aunt began to cultivate this creativity by taking her to art museums so that she could be inspired and enlightened. Now, she is making beautiful dresses for every bride in mind.

At the age of 17, Catherine packed up her bags and moved from the San Francisco to New York to attend school. She attended the Prestigious Parson School of Design and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Fashion Design. With over 10 years in the industry in various capacities, it was this year that she decided to step out and share with the world her work.

Catherine's inaugural collection has an organic, coastal, breezy vibe to the collection. With her coastal roots and love for nature, she has captured the very essence of today's bride. She uses light, airy fabrics, hints of color, and accessories that give her gowns the unique style that today's brides are looking to wear on their special day. She has truly designed her collection with every bride in mind. Catherine prides herself in being a "inclusive size" designer. She wants every bride to feel and look beautiful as they should without worrying about the size of the dress.

So, Catherine is setting a trend in the bridal industry by deciding to use couture styling but American sizing versus the traditional sizing methods. She is empowering every bride to take their control back on how they should look and feel on their day without worrying about the size of the dress. Body dimorphism is so prevalent in the United States, and it takes one person to change that perception and Catherine is leading the charge. We look forward to seeing all the things that this Emerging-Trending Bridal Designer has in store for the Bridal Industry. I introduce to you, the Catherine Kowalski Bridal Collection!
