Asus has launched its latest ROG Phone 7 series in India and other markets such as the United States. The latest agship gaming phones are the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Prepare to receive your wish fulllment gaming phone!

The Aero Active Cooler 7 doubles as a subwoofer to give you a portable 2.1 sound system, and an upgraded Game Cool 7 thermal design keeps everything super-cool even when you’re maxing out the performance.

We’ve also increased the brightness of the 165 Hz Samsung AMOLED screen for better outdoor visibility, while keeping all of your favourite features like the unique Air Trigger controls and monster 6000 mAh1 battery. The ROG Phone 7 makes no compromises, and you should not either.

ASUS ROG PHONE 7 SERIES DESIGN DETAILS AND FEATURES

The ROG Phone 7 series comes with the Two Tone design with one half being matte and the other half being translucent. The overall design, however, is similar to the ROG Phone 6 series. Both phones come with support for AirTrigger motion control gestures. There’s the illuminated RGB logo for the standard ROG Phone 7 and the ROG Vision color PMOLED display at the back panel.

There are a lot of different colors to choose from, including red, orange and blue. The red version has a matte nish while the orange has a glossy nish. The blue version has a mirror-like nish that makes it look like it’s oating in midair thanks to its reective surface.

The ROG Phone 7 also comes with a rear-mounted ngerprint reader below its dual cameras setup which can be used as a home button when holding down on it but also doubles up as a touchpad when tapped on by another nger or thumb. It also supports gesture controls such as AirTriggers for motion control gestures along with light sensors for automatic brightness adjustments depending on your environment

The phones have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz, a touch sampling rate of 720Hz, 1500 nits of peak brightness, gamut of 11.23% DCI-P3, and HDR10+. The screen also has a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and AS coating for reduced friction when sweating, as well as SGS Eye Care support.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform and the Adreno 740 GPU power the

device. Up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage are supported. The 6,000mAh battery supports 65W fast charging. The ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7

Ultimate are powered by Android 13 and feature ROG UI and Zen UI. Both will receive major updates for two years and security updates for four years.

The ROG Phone 7’s improved GameCool 7 thermal system, which cools the CPU from all sides, is the best yet. It employs a three-pronged strategy. First, the thermal compound made of boron nitride (BN) on one side of the CPU reduces throttling during brief sessions. Second, the larger vapour chamber and graphite sheets on the opposite side of the CPU handle mid-length sessions. Finally, the AeroActive Cooler 7 with its fan placed directly over the CPU module comes into play for AI-powered active cooling during prolonged sessions. A triple-rear camera system with a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP macro camera is present on the camera front. A 32MP camera is located up front. With support, you can record up to 8K video.
