Spirit Dog Policy
The Spirit dog policy makes it clear that dogs must be small enough to fit comfortably in the carrier without sticking out. Large dogs or those not meeting the size requirements cannot travel in the cabin. Spirit does not allow pets in the cargo hold, so only in-cabin travel is possible for dogs.
Pet Policy Fee When you add a pet to your booking, you’ll need to pay the Spirit pet policy fee. Currently, Spirit Airlines charges around $125 each way per pet carrier. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid at the time of booking or check-in.
