We believe in strength in diversity, accessibility, and making social change through the arts. We believe in community and strengthening our relationships and networks through DIY publishing. This issue we have asked our artists across the country what RECONSTRUCTION means to them. This issue covers many different facets of what RECONSTRUCTION means, and how communities are affected by change.
'Beautiful Trash' is a DIY zine curator by Trashcan Media, a grassroots and community led organization dedicated to boosting and celebrating underrepresented 2SLGBTQ+ artistic voices based on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations aka Vancouver.
