Education needs for the preschool and daycare program. Integration of children with and without special learning needs is shown through research to have advantages for all types of learners and is known as a best practice in preschool settings. Children benefit from building friendships with people who are different from themselves, and this arrangement fosters tolerance and empathy. Both groups learn valuable lessons from critical thinking and social skills instruction, in addition to the quality of academic programming. Children that are enrolled in the program for special education services are either diagnosed on the autism spectrum or can simply benefit from a behaviorally based educational program. Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is the fundamental approach for instruction at Crossroads Center for Children. In addition to the center-based school, Crossroads Center for Children also has an ABA Clinic; children with diagnoses of autism are seen on premises, or in their own homes and communities. Our mission is to prepare individuals with and without developmental disabilities for life success within their family and community. Our Philosophy Crossroads Center for Children utilizes interventions from the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA), a branch of psychology and education with a foundation based on scientific analysis of human behavior and learning. Our vision is that every student we serve will achieve a full and productive life. Learn more about our programs, services and stories of progress at https://crossroadcenter.org.

We are a vibrant technology leader with a big heart keenly focused on service, integrity and a true partnership.

When it comes to critical business technology, you need a partner that you can trust. Since 1987, Repeat Business Systems has built a reputation based on managing technology and installing trust.

Managing Technology

Business runs on technology. Whether you need office systems like copiers and printers or you need support for your network, you need more than machines. You need a partner that can help you manage your technology. When you partner with Repeat Business Systems, you get access to technology from our powerful partners. More importantly, you get the proactive support that you’ve come to expect from the Repeat Business Systems team.

Installing Trust

Beyond technology, you need a partner you can feel great about. You need a company that does more than install products and leave. You need a partner that installs trust. When Dr. Dawn and John Abbuhl started Repeat Business Systems, they founded the company based on valuing people. That means building relationships with clients and backing it up with responsive support. It also means caring about the people that work on the team, leading the Times Union, as well as the Capital District Business Review, to recognize Repeat Business Systems as one of the Best Places to Work. We are committed not only to our business, but to the community as well – giving back by being involved in mentorship programs, as well as donating to hundreds of organizations yearly because we are very passionate not only about business, but about people too.

My name is Andrew Paolano and I started a Social Club for teenagers and young adults with autism, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, Williams syndrome and cerebral palsy. I have been doing social groups for 6 or 7 years now. I started this group when I graduated high and I did not have any friends. I was lonely and I wanted to help others make friends in a safe and fun environment. We do many things, including but not limited to mini golf, go carts, laser tag, arcades, boat rides on Lake George, picnics in the summer with bounce houses and bean bag toss and volley ball. We go to baseball games, do things with music and music classes, paint and sips, and art classes. We do holiday parties, Christmas parties and Halloween parties. Anyone can join this group from anywhere in the Capital Region. New members are always welcome!

Please follow me on Facebook at Andrew Paolano for group outings.

Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC

Ed Wilcenski

Tara Pleat

5 Emma Ln. Clifton Park, NY 12065 518-881-1621 www.wplawny.com

ewilenski@wplawny.com

Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC is a law firm which concentrates its practice in the areas of special needs estate planning, special needs trust administration, traditional trust and estate administration, long term care planning and elder law. The firm helps clients navigate issues impacting individuals with disabilities of all ages and across the disability spectrum.

Founding partners Ed Wilcenski and Tara Anne Pleat both have family members with disabilities, and they designed their firm around three core concepts: competence in their chosen areas of practice, credibility among their peers and within the communities they serve, and continuity—clients rest assured that attorneys and staff will be here to provide expertise and service throughout the years ahead.

“We take this practice and the relationships that we build with our clients very seriously. Disability is lifelong, and unlike many areas of the law, our clients often choose our practice with the hope and expectation that we will be here for a family member with a disability long after the primary caregivers are gone. Every decision we make from the staff we hire to the professional relationships we build to the location of our office has been made with the idea of creating an infrastructure that will be here for our clients, for their families, and for their guardians and trustees for years to come.” Ed Wilcenski

The firm has two offices located near the scenic Adirondack Mountains. The main office is located in southern Saratoga County, just north of Albany. The second office is located in Queensbury in southern Warren County, just south of Lake George. While the firm is located in Eastern New York, attorneys and staff work with clients across New York State.
