Whenyourballotarrives,fillitoutwithablackballpointpen,thensealit intheproperenvelopes.Yourballotcouldtakeaweekormoretoarrive.

JerryCooperistheformerMayorofTalladega.Heisaretiredmailcarrier,a roleheheldforover30years.Duringhisfirsttermasmayor,Jerryworked closelywiththeHallofHeroes.Healsoworkedwithlocalgroupstohelp the Talladega High School Boys Basketball championship team receive variousrecognitions.
Ashton Hall is a Talladega High School graduate and a Class of 2023 Talladega College graduate. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Child DevelopmentandInstruction.WhileatTalladegaCollege,Ashtonservedon theSGAExecutiveCabinetforthreeterms.HeiscurrentlyViceChairforthe City Planning Commission. Ashton’s priorities as mayor would be increasing activities for children, and bringing more businesses and attractions.
The City of Talladega operates as a council-manager form of government. The five-member council is elected from single member wards. The city manager is hired by the city council.
