Requirements

To apply for the Taking Teaching Further programme you will need to have worked in business or industry for at least 24 months. Most of the roles on offer are in technical or vocational subjects, but there are also opportunities to teach Maths or English or support those with Special Educational Needs.

We recognise there could be occasions where due to a variety of reasons, such as working patterns it might not be possible to accommodate the course, however, to support these recruits, and to assist you in supporting the transition we also provide a reduced offer that requires fewer remission hours.
