Evil, beware. Amazon Video’s The Tick returns to fight for honour, justice and the right for grownups to wear tighter than tight tights.

After the fanfare that followed the first six episodes of Amazon’s rendition of the popular comic and 90s cartoon series, released in August last year, the network has announced that it will release the next six episodes of The Tick Season 1 all at once on 23 February.

This is superhero satire at its best, so expect hilarity and edginess as The Tick and his adopted sidekick, Arthur the accountant, battle to keep the forces of evil at bay.

But the dark forces that are conspiring to destroy his country and threaten peace all over the world could force the Black Panther to come out of hiding again.

The likes of Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B Jordan, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis join Boseman on screen for this one.

Don’t discount your wildest sci-fi dreams just yet. Rumour has it that the ‘world’s first holographic smartphone’ will officially launch in early 2018.
