2022 Highlights

• Finance Committee has been hard at work planning for upcoming reno, managing operational and capital budget, and planning for overall long term financial health of the Club

• Fine tuned our Operational Budgeting process (level of detail improved in budgeting as well as use of PowerBi)

• Put a detailed program in place for capital expenditure, review and budgeting (club benchmarking and overall review process)

• Secured our bank debt for reno project and created a 10 year paydown plan (2.75% on 14m loan)

• Adequate cash reserves established for a cushion for unexpected expenditures

• Created a rainy -day fund for long term planning

• Dues analysis put into practice whereby dues have been calculated on a cost per membership basis for access to amenities

• Peninsula Club Employee Funds (separate non-profit) – thank you Scott Swain

• League Tennis at an all time high

-65+ men participating in the ICE “intra-club” league

-140 ladies participating in Interclub (and seniors league)

-45 USTA league teams

-Saturday drills continues as most popular with steady waitlist

-Co-ed live ball is close behind with great participation

2022 Food and Beverage Highlights

• Shaq and Kap entered the Manager in Training program and are now two of our fulltime management team members. Terry is currently in the program.

• Promoted Hope Bajema to Catering and Events Manager from banquets supervisor, she’s doing a great job!

• Richard Fuller (Club Sommelier) has been a great addition to the team

• Hired and retained several phenomenal new line level team members

• Promoted Mark Jose to Sous Chef from the Junior Sous Chef program

• Purchased and distributed knife sets to all culinary team members

• Rolled out new China designs in Veranda

• Implemented new and effective training programs

• Creating new and unique events for the membership to attend during the golf course closure

Implement a more efficient check-in process for dining

Maintain and increase staffing levels to accommodate in-season dining volumes

2022 Activities Highlights

Increased the number of available camps for Camp

Pen and Mini Camp from 4 to 10

Added in many new events and camps that were very well received- two weeks of art camp, scuba camp, holiday camp, and three weeks of wakeboard camp

Family events saw more attendance in 2022 then they have in years prior
