Thousands of artifacts relating to the history of Sauk County are displayed on two floors of the mansion. In addition to the museum, the SCHS has a new research facility, the History Center, which supports a research library with an extensive collection of pictures, documents and memorabilia relating to Sauk County and its inhabitants.
