Al. Ringling Mansion Tours April 1–October 31 walk-in tours available daily from 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., every hour on the hour. Last tour is at 3:00 p.m. November 1–March 31 tours available by appointment only. This spectacular red stone mansion was built in 1905 as the home of legendary circus showman, Al. Ringling. Al. was the eldest of the five famous Ringling brothers. The Ringling Bros. Circus was at its peak when the mansion was built. History comes alive with a guided tour of this spectacular 18,000-square-foot sandstone mansion boasting 7 fireplaces, 14 chandeliers and 65 stained-glass windows! Aldo Leopold Guided Tour Leopold Shack and Farm tours Tuesdays–Saturdays at 1:00 p.m., Memorial Day weekend–Labor Day weekend. Early season tours Saturdays only at 1:00 p.m. beginning in April. Late season tours Saturdays only at 1:00 p.m. September and October. Come hear stories about the incredible land restoration initiated here by Aldo Leopold and his family, visit the inside of the famous shack and stroll along restored prairie, woods and river trails with our guide. Concerts on the Square Thursdays, June–August Enjoy music on the lawn of the Sauk County Courthouse in historic Downtown Baraboo.
