SPRING Vintage Shop Hop Friday, March 6, 2020, 9:00 a.m. – Saturday, March 7, 2020, 5:00 p.m. (Varies by Participating Business) The now twice-annual Vintage Shop Hop is a self-guided day to visit any number of the almost 400 participating vintage shops and boutiques throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Each year, the shop owners roll out the red carpet for you by hosting a fun promotion inside their store. It might be anything from chalk-paint demonstrations to jewelry-making demo or music on site or a parking lot sale. Some offer a “pop the balloon” to determine your discount. Some give away gift bags to the first people in the store each day. It’s entirely up to the shop owners (who set their own hours) to decide on what their promotions are, but all make your visit worth it!
