Reiki is a Japanese technique that uses energy to reduce stress, and anxiety and encourage relaxation. These sessions will be focused on attunement, which will open and expand the main energy channels in the student’s body, allowing energy (chi) to flow more freely. Gain knowledge and focus on self growth and you move through Level 1 and 2. Each level includes 2 days of a four hour class plus a follow up class approximately 21 days later.
Sonora Community Centre Room 1
Instructor: Cory
Level 1: The First Degree
Focus during level 1 is a practitioner’s initiation into reiki and is open to anyone. The focus during level 1 is an opening of the energy channels on a physical level, allowing the practitioner to connect to the universal life force energy, which flows from the cosmos through the crown of the head and down to the heart and hands. Many reiki masters emphasize self reiki as the goal of level 1 designation, encouraging students to focus on practicing reiki on themselves, thereby working through their obstacles, and an overview of history. Level I attunement can be done in one session, and after the attunement, there will be the practicum session, followed by a 21 day cleanse of eating healthy, drinking lots of water, cutting back on sugar, coffee, alcohol, habits, etc. journaling and meditation, and doing reiki for 15 min each day for those 21 days. The final session is a follow up class and certification.
3 sessions | Tues & Thur | Apr 9- Apr 11, May 6 4:30pm-8:30pm
Fee $60.00 | This program is not included with passes
Level 2: The First Degree
Level II gives you the skills to practice reiki on others and open energy channels more deeply. You will also receive 2 more symbols in your attunement. You are expected to use these symbols to bring the universal energy of reiki into their everyday lives in more practical ways. The symbols can also help people provide reiki long distances to send healing energy wherever it may be needed in the world. Level II attunement can be done in one session as well, and the focus is on opening up the heart chakra, the midpoint between the physical and spiritual chakras. Students have their eyes closed for attunement so they can look within and fully feel the effect on the heart. This will have a 21 day cleanse same as level I
