Mount Vernon

The Mount Vernon Arts Consortium (MVAC) works to support the arts and entertainment scene in Mount Vernon by assisting key venues such as the Knox Memorial and Ariel-Foundation Park. The organization helps with event marketing, technical coordination, box office management, and planning. It also plays a role in facilitating rentals, staffing, and tours, ensuring these venues remain active and accessible to the community.
In addition to its operational support, MVAC helps produce and support a variety of arts and entertainment programs including local and national performances, family-friendly events, and educational activities. Regular collaborations with arts partners and organizations further amplify the impact of these programs, creating a unified approach to the arts in Mount Vernon.
To keep these efforts going, MVAC relies on grants, sponsorships, and donations to fund programs and operations. They also provide resources to partner organizations to help with planning, marketing, and production. Through these efforts, MVAC aims to help maintain and grow Mount Vernon’s arts and entertainment offerings in a way that benefits the entire community.
