Day Camp

Tower Hill Day Camp is the perfect introduction to the camp experience for younger children, with daily activities that take advantage of our beautiful campus and provide opportunities to make new friends. Before and after care are available.

Yellow and Blue Groups attend field trips and go swimming at Windybush Pool.

Summer Tots and Green Groups do specialized theme activities and have special guests in lieu of off campus field trips. Summer Tots and Green Group campers must be potty trained.

WEEKLY THEMES

Week 1: June 8-12, Color Craze Carnival

The Color Craze Carnival is coming to town! This week will be full of the wonder of color and design. We will create tie-dyed t-shirts and paint a giant splatter paint mural. Face painting and a silly hat parade will be included too! The grand finale for the week will be a Mini Color Run ending with a colorful Popsicle Party.

Field Trip: Painting With a Twist

Week 2: June 15-18, Superhero Training Camp

Closed Friday, June 19 for Juneteenth Superheroes of confidence, kindness and imagination that is! The week will kick off with each camper creating superhero capes and masks. Obstacle courses or rescue missions will be set up for our heroes throughout the week. They will work on Acts of Heroism Challenges as well. The week will end with Super Showdown Games and Hero Awards!

Week 3: June 22-26, Wild About Nature

Who is not Wild About Nature? The week will be full of opportunities to appreciate the outdoors! Mother Earth and all of its wonder will be explored and enjoyed. Scavenger hunts and bag safaris are in the queue for limitless splendor! Build a Fort Day will become the highlight of the week for our campers. The finale will be a campground cookout with nature awards!

Week 4: June 29-July 2, Camp Out Week

Closed Friday, July 3 for Fourth of July

Camping in the summer is an excellent way to build skills, share stories and bond with special friends. Camping at Summer at Tower Hill is an even greater experience with tent building, campfire sing-alongs and storytelling. We will enjoy nature yoga, constellation crafts and create trail mix! The finale for the week will include an indoor “camp in” day with wearing our pajamas and eating picnic snacks.

Week 5: July 6-10, Splish Splash Splashdown

Who loves to splish and splash in the summer? All of our campers will delight in the fun with water as the star! Slip and Slide relays, sponge tosses, and water balloon volleyball are in the queue for the week. In addition to swimming at Windybush Pool and water play for our younger friends, we will end the week with Wet and Wild Olympics with a watermelon feast.

Week 6: July 13-17, Mad Science Mayhem

The scientific mayhem will begin with a slime lab! Curiosity and experimentation will take over as our scientists tinker with soda geysers, bubbles and magnets. The inventor’s lab maker station will allow campers to create, design and share their creations during the Science Fair.

Week 7: July 20-24, Camp’s Got Talent!

Want to share your self-expression and your skills at the performing arts? Then this is the camp for you! The highlight of this week’s theme will be dance parties, skit writing and silly impressions. Karaoke and puppet theater workshops will also cause a stir. However, the greatest will be our finale of the week with a Tower Hill Talent Show put on by the campers with sets and props designed by all! Families are welcome to attend the show on Friday morning.

Week 8: July 27-31, Kids in the Kitchen

Cooking is the perfect way to practice food science and edible creativity. Our focus this year will be to practice our chopping skills, create personal pizzas and experiment with no-bake desserts. We will attend a cooking demonstration at Grotto’s Pizza to see how they fill orders throughout the day. In addition, we will learn chopping skills and essentials of eating healthy.

Week 9: Aug. 3-7, Movie Magic

Want to discover the magic of creativity behind the scenes of famous movies? We will learn about stop-motion animation and create a short film trailer to share! Popcorn boxes will be designed and constructed to enjoy a popcorn snack for the Red Carpet Movie Reveal!

Week 10: Aug. 10-14, Mystery Week

No aftercare on Friday, Aug. 14 - camp closes at 3p.m. Are you a kid that loves a mystery? Problem-solving, teamwork and critical thinking will be used daily during this week as our campers complete daily scavenger hunts, DIY spy kits and fingerprinting fun! Escape Room puzzles will be experienced for the ultimate mystery. The week will conclude with the Great Camp Mystery Reveal with awards!

Camper Fun! Day camp for grades 3-5

Available Weeks: 1-3 and 5-8 only.

For 3rd, 4th and 5th graders it will be an extraordinary summer, indeed! Transitioning into their own cohort, rising 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will have the opportunity to embark on new adventures daily. At our summer camp, campers will experience the best of both worlds! They will enjoy a dynamic blend of age-appropriate activities designed to match their energy and interests, all while immersing themselves in the fun and excitement of our overarching weekly themes. With a variety of engaging activities woven into the camp schedule, each day brings something new and exciting. Campers will also get to enjoy the most popular elements of our Day Camp program, including bowling, refreshing swimming sessions and select field trips that bring learning and adventure to life. It’s the perfect combination of structure, creativity and outdoor fun!

Academics

$265 per program.

Readiness courses are designed for new and returning Tower Hill students only. This year some camps have a choice of AM or PM.

Week 3: June 22-26

Ready For Middle School Math!

Games, games and more games will make this program a winner with all who attend. We will focus on whole number operations, place value and the rote recall of multiplication and division facts. Get ready to have fun while strengthening your math skills!

Week 8: July 27-31

OR Kindergarten Readiness!

Ashley Gillerlain, Kindergarten

Join us for a week to get ready for kindergarten! We will practice phonemic awareness, letter formation, handwriting skills and number sense! We will also practice routines and skills needed for kindergarten.

OR Second Grade Readiness!

Taylor Brennan, Grade 2

Avoid the summer slide! Have your student ready for second grade by reviewing the previous year’s math and literacy skills while having fun all along the way!

OR First Grade Readiness

Is your child preparing to enter first grade? Help them avoid the summer slide with this fun academic week. Students will play games while reviewing sight words and math concepts. Also, students will practice proper letter formation while writing about their favorite summer activity. The week would not be complete without working on their reading comprehension skills. Pack your backpack for first grade, here we come!

LUNCH

Full day campers can pack a healthy peanut free lunch each day. We will not be refrigerating lunches so be sure to include an ice pack. A snack and drink will be provided by Tower Hill each day. Please send in your camper with a water bottle full of water.

We are thrilled to continue our Summer at Tower Hill School Lunch Program! The two week camp menu below was created with our pickiest of eaters in mind. Milk and non-carbonated beverages included. $62 per 5-day week. *Menu subject to change based on availability.

REGISTRATION POLICY/ REFUNDS

By registering for any program, you are signing a release for your child to attend any off-site field trip, scheduled pool trip or bus ride, described in the brochure and/or website for that particular week of camp.

All cancellations must be made by Friday, May 15, to receive a refund less a $25 cancellation fee per camp registration. Thereafter, cancellations will only be honored with a refund if we can fill your child’s spot with one on our waiting list. If we cannot fill the spot, a cancellation fee of $200 will be applied to each camp. The circumstances for refunds will also be considered on a case-bycase basis. The Summer at Tower Hill Program reserves the right to cancel or modify individual programs due to enrollment or weather conditions. If Tower Hill decides a program change is necessary, the student will be placed in an alternative program or the program will provide a full refund.
