Because of the herculean efforts of these four chairs, the incredible GPYC Staff, and the dedicated Member volunteers, the event was a huge success. The Club was proud to present the Members of the Year Award to Julie Schuetze, Maureen Gleason, Jim Boutrous, and Steven Beckett. Congratulations to this great Committee team!

Planning for our event at By Director Bruce Knapp the GPYC started early, and at the time the rules for attendance in person kept changing due to the nce every 14 years, each of the 14 Clubs pandemic. The four Chairs adjusted on the fly as that are part of the MICSA organization the months passed, and really took the event from a host the MICSA Swim Finals. This has traditionally been a three-day event where each of potential remote function in 2021 to a fantastic onsite event. The structure of the event changed a bit the Clubs bring their top swimmers to compete. in that GPYC hosted 3-4 clubs per day for four days Plans for this event take many hours of time
