PROFESSIONAL SCHOOLS TOURO COLLEGE OF PHARMACY (TCOP)

PharmD

TCOP is providing students with a competitive edge through exciting new courses, esteemed faculty and a unique curriculum offering a combination of classroom and clinical experience rare among pharmacy schools. By experiencing nine pharmacy rotations, ~54 weeks, students have more opportunity to practice what they learn. Students may obtain meaningful elective rotations at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Indian Health Service (IHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). While many graduates become community pharmacists or hospital pharmacists, students also pursue exciting career opportunities at pharmaceutical companies and regulatory agencies.

Experiential clinical rotation specialties include infectious diseases, HIV and hepatitis, pediatrics, drug information, critical care, cardiology, internal medicine and ambulatory care. More than 20% of our recent graduates pursued post-graduate training and entered into the American Society of Health Systems Residency Match Program, or applied to pharmaceutical industry fellowships.
