Since 1860, NYMC has trained generations of students from all over the world to deliver skilled and compassionate medical care, explore the questions that lead to important discoveries and provide leadership in the field of public health and essential services to people with specialized healthcare needs, including physical therapy and speech-language pathology.
NYMC features state-of-the-art tools and modalities that allow for the virtual study of anatomy, including life-size digital displays. NYMC offers kosher food services and is a leader in founding and promoting residencies for Sabbathobservant residents.
To enable our students to treat and work with diverse populations and purse a wide range of residency and career opportunities, NYMC offers three schools: The School of Medicine, School of Health Sciences and Practice and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
BioInc@NYMC is the Hudson Valley’s only biotechnology incubator located on a health sciences college campus, offering sponsored professional services to promising, high-potential entrepreneurs and start-ups, and assisting clients in building strong teams and achieving development and funding milestones.
