BAKER Jamal Lake Ganache Bakery and Café, West Palm Beach

FASHION DESIGNER Amanda Perna House of Perna, Delray Beach

This local fashionista trained at the University of Alabama’s design school and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City before honing her skills for major names including Calvin Klein and Oscar de la Renta. But it was her two seasons of Project Runway that made Amanda a local celeb. At her shop Attelier, you’ll find fabulous designs and vibrant colors inspired by the history and lifestyle of The Palm Beaches.

Born in St. Croix, Virgin Islands, baker Jamal Lake learned his trade at Florida Culinary Institute. He then opened Ganache Bakery and Café, where his amazing team creates cakes for any occasion, as well as daily fresh creations. Jamal also appeared on Guy’s Grocery Games on the Food Network and even emerged victorious over the stiff competition!

FRAGRANCE MAKER Camille Swanson The Wild Lily, West Palm Beach

Though she earned degrees in urban planning and environmental studies, Camille soon turned to nutrition therapy and focused on holistic healing. Her goal of restoring physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness to those around her motivated her (and her furry friend Lilah) to create products that aren’t just good for the soul, but for the earth as well.
