Small Cities of The Palm Beaches
Visitors willing to get off the beaten path here in The Palm Beaches will be rewarded with smaller communities offering the delicious food, great shopping, and beautiful beach scenery we’re world-famous for. Here are just a few towns to put on your to-see list on your next trip.
Lake Park
Historic Lake Park is conveniently located near Palm Beach Gardens and Riviera Beach, with easy access to U.S. Highway 1. Visitors will find lots to love on the main thoroughfare, Park Avenue, with its excellent selection of brew pubs and eclectic restaurants frequented by in-the-know locals. Some of our favorites include Pelican Café, Locale Gastropub, Silver Spoon Jamaican Restaurant, Guadalajara Restaurant, and Joshua Deli. And be sure to grab a pint at Brewhouse Gallery and Coastal Karma Brewing.

Royal Palm Beach, Lake Park, Greenacres
Visitors wanting a cultural experience should head to Lark Park Black Box and the Center for the Arts at the Kelsey Theater to catch a live performance. And beautiful natural scenery can be found at Lake Park Marina in Kelsey Park, located right on Lake Worth Lagoon.
Royal Palm Beach
Known as the gateway village to The Palm Beaches’ western communities, Royal Palm Beach offers countless excuses to get out and enjoy the weather. Disc golfers and walkers will love Commons Park, while Calypso Bay Waterpark offers water slides, a meandering lazy river, and an interactive water playground to help visitors beat the heat. Be sure to check the schedules for Commons Park, Veterans Park, and Royal Palm Beach Cultural Center to see if there are any fun events, like concerts, food truck gatherings, or holiday celebrations happening during your stay. The Brass Ring Pub, a fun sports bar, and Royal Palm Brewing Company, are the perfect places to grab a cold one with friends.

Greenacres
If you’re craving a taste of Latino culture while in The Palm Beaches, head to Greenacres, where you’ll find Cuban, Puerto Rican, and South American influences, among others. Enjoy authentic Puerto Rican food at La Cosinita Latina, a restaurant featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Some of our favorite bakeries include Tropical Bakery & Restaurant, offering Cuban fare, and Enzo’s Café and Bakery, serving up South American delights. And be sure not to miss Fiesta de Pueblo – 3 Kings Day at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park, featuring a colorful display of Hispanic culture, including parades, games, amusement park rides, live entertainment, and delicious food.
