oulon Design officially launched its new Tour-inspired Toulon Garage custom putter program on our website on May 31, 2016. “Toulon Design putters combine precise engineering quality, born through the use of aerospace and military defense-inspired manufacturing techniques, painstaking attention to each and every detail, and freshly conceived technologies that will deliver profound feel, sound, and ultimately, improved roll,” said company founder Sean Toulon. “We confidently believe our putters have raised the bar not only for magnificent beauty, but also for best-inclass performance. As we have worked with Touring professionals from around the globe, it has become increasingly evident that we wanted to expand our custom capabilities to better suit the player’s individual needs. Toulon Garage leverages our unique capabilities, and allows us to effectively create world-class putters specifically designed for the individual.” We have designed an eight-step process that essentially mimics how we interact with a Tour player. Step 1 - Pick your head Toulon Garage initially will allow everyone the ability to pick from three head styles – our Madison, San Diego or Rochester blades. These heads vary in size and shape, and certainly players tend to prefer different styles; within the Garage you can decide exactly what YOU want. Step 2 - Pick your hosel Now a golfer can pair their preferred head design with a hosel that best suits their stroke. This is an important part – and almost totally overlooked – of making a putter fit both

the golfer’s eye and a particular or desired stroke path. We offer three different hosel designs; a standard plumber’s neck, a long-neck plumber’s neck (both with full-shaft offsets), and a short flow-neck with a half-shaft offset. These hosel designs create very different toe hangs, and therefore change the way the putter head will flow with the golfer’s stroke. The standard plumber’s neck (H1), produces a moderate toe hang and encourages a gently arcing stroke. The long plumber’s neck (H2), produces very little toe hang, and encourages greatly reduced arc to the stroke path. The short flow-neck (H5), produces the greatest toe hang, and encourages a more aggressive arc to the stroke path. This is a very unique custom offering, and allows every golfer to design a putter for themselves just like a Tour player has been able to for years. (continued next page)
