Welcome in Italy for the 6th European Blues Challenge The Town of Torrita di Siena and the Cultural Blues Association Torrita Blues invite you from April 7th to 9th 2016 at 6th European Blues Challenge (EBC), the most important and famous blues event for European blues bands organized every year by the European Blues Union since 2011.

After the last successful editions of Belgium, Latvia, France and Germany, the EBC for

famous wines (like Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello of Montalcino, Chianti) great food (T-bone Steak Chianina, Pasta handmade, Tuscany cheese) amazing landscape (like the hills “Crete Senesi” and the “Chianti region”) wellness centers and natural thermal baths

The Challenge - three days of pure blues 21 blues bands from 21 countries will compete playing to win the European Blues Challenge, and then, the winner will have the honor to play in some of the most important blues festivals in Europe.

Annual General Assembly EBU General Assembly, only for EBU members, will take place on Saturday april 9th 2016 in “Teatro degli Oscuri” a 18th century theatre, located in the centre of town (Matteotti square).
