Eligibility for admission KIMS Bangalore
1. The candidates should have passed the two years PUC examination conducted by the Pre University Education Board, Karnataka State, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent to it by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. OR The candidates should have passed the BSc examination of Bangalore University or any other statutory University provided he/she has passed the BSc examination with not less than three of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
2. The Candidates should have secured not less than 50% of the total marks in Science subjects taken altogether at the qualifying examination and CET/COMED K. However, the OBC 3A category and SC/ST students of Karnataka are required to secure 40% of the total marks.
3. The Candidate should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
4. Foreign (NRI) students desiring admission should produce:
(a) A No Objection Certificate from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
(b) An eligibility Certificate from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. (c) Student Visa.
(d) Residential Certificate.
KIMS Bangalore MBBS Admission 2022
KIMS Bangalore offers a four and half year M.B.B.S. course along with a compulsory rotary internship of one year. The selection criteria to admit candidates in this course are based on the result of NEET UG, COMEDK UGET, and KCET.
Key Points for MBBS Admission:
Of the total seats, 40% each are filled on the basis of KCET/ COMEDK UGET result while the remaining 15% seats are reserved for N.R.I. candidates and the rest 5% are for institutional preferences.
Candidates applying must be 17 year old as on or before December 31.
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC and other minor categories are awarded with a relaxation of 10% in the aggregated score.

Selection of candidates to MD course under 15 specializations, MS course with 5 specializations and PG Diploma courses under 8 different disciplines is on the basis of NEET PG/ COMEDK PGET/ PGCET merit score. The basic criterion to apply TO any of these programs requires M.B.B.S. degree along with the compulsory one year rotary internship.
