Ganesh Chaturthi Ganesh Chaturthi is 11-day festival celebrated to commemorate birth of elephant-headed Lord Ganesha. In the beginning of the festival, idols of Lord Ganesha are installed in homes and extensively decorated podiums called ‘pandals’ where everyday ‘pooja’ is performed. Onam Kala Kettu festival Held on the 28th day of Onam, the Kala Kettu procession is a harvest thanksgiving festival celebrated in Kerala.
