DAYS 1-2 CAPE TOWN TO GARIEP (ORANGE) RIVER, SOUTH AFRICA VIA WESTERN CAPE. Meet the group for a Cape Town Township tour, then roll north to the Gariep (Orange) River. (L,D) (B,L,D) DAYS 3-4 GARIEP (ORANGE) RIVER TO NAMIB NAUKLUFT PARK, NAMIBIA VIA SESRIEM AREA. Our first stop is Fish River Canyon. Next, head to the Namib Naukluft Park and climb the world’s highest dunes. (B,L,D) (B,L,D) DAYS 5-7 NAMIB NAUKLUFT PARK TO SWAKOPMUND, VIA SOLITAIRE. Check out the imposing Dune 45 and Sesriem Canyon, then enjoy a few days of adventure activities in Swakopmund. Here, you’re basically spoilt for options! (B,L,D) (B) (B) DAYS 8-9 SWAKOPMUND TO ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK VIA SPITZKOPPE. We’ll camp among the eerie rock formations at Spitzkoppe, a series of dramatic granite peaks rising above the plains. DAYS 10-12 ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK TO GHANZI VIA WINDHOEK. We take morning and afternoon game drives and camp for two nights near floodlit waterholes. Our next stop is Namibia’s capital Windhoek, before travelling on to Ghanzi. (B,L,D) (B,L) (B,L,D)
DAYS 13-14 GHANZI TO OKAVANGO DELTA, BOTSWANA VIA MAUN. Head into beautiful Botswana and the Okavango Delta, which skirts the northern reaches of the Kalahari Desert. (B,L,D) (B,L,D)
DAYS 15-16 OKAVANGO DELTA TO ELEPHANT SANDS VIA MAUN. By day we’ll view game on foot and from mokoro canoes, and by night we’ll camp out under the stars and watch the sky sparkle. (B,L,D)
