ZACH FRIES

Zachary Fries of Columbus, Ohio, combines a professional background in digital marketing with hometown knowledge and a penchant for interpersonal networking to support his rapidly growing real estate business. “I try to be approachable and easy to communicate with, which helps me obtain clients, but people come back when you get them results. It’s one thing to be friendly, but another thing entirely to be good at what you do. The opportunity to help people get into their dream home or help them to the next stage of their lives, that’s why I do it.”

After graduating from The Ohio State University, Zachary enjoyed a career in the marketing arena before moving to Denver. “While I was living out west, I had several friends ask me about specific neighborhoods where I grew up back home,” he recalls. “After COVID happened and I chose to come back home, real estate seemed like a good fit for my network and skillset, so I took my coursework and became a licensed REALTOR®.”

Since that move in 2021, Zachary has signed on as a full-time agent for Pryor Group Realty, and his first year and a half have seen him build a book of business that is already sixty percent repeat and referral clients. “We’re an independent brokerage, we service everything in the Central Ohio region, whether it be residential or commercial.” An intimate understanding of each neighborhood and borough helps Zachary build digital profiles for his listings (supported with professional photography), which are then broadcasted to the MLS, Zillow, and various social media platforms. This robust digital footprint helps entice the increasing number of transplants relocating to the heart of the nation.

Zachary’s insider’s view of the city makes it easy to explain why this midwest technology hub has blossomed in recent years. “Columbus is representative of the nation as a whole – to the point where corporations frequently use the city as a testing ground for products,” he exudes. “Since the beginning of the pandemic, I’ve had clients coming in from New York and California – people moving from those overpopulated places and starting to discover Columbus as a unique city, and an ideal place to do things like raise children. Big companies are starting to follow suit – IBM and Amazon just launched multi-billion-dollar projects here.”

Zachary is excited to grow alongside his city, and he actively connects with the greater community as he rediscovers everything Columbus has to offer. “The bigger companies are here, but part of the beauty of Columbus is in every neighborhood there are ‘mom-and-pop’ restaurants and locally owned businesses to explore. While he continues to market his burgeoning city, Zachary is looking forward to “building on that momentum. I really want to carve out a niche for myself here as a go-to-guy in Central Ohio, and I know if I keep this track record I’ve got going, people will continue to trust me, and we will be able to help more folks achieve their goals.”
