IBPS PO EXAM PATTERN & SYLLABUS IBPS has been giving opportunities to the young aspirants in creating a Banking career. IBPS started Common Written Examination (CWE) in 2011 to recruit the officers and clerks for the Public Sector Banks. Aspirants can apply based on their educational qualifications. The minimum educational qualification to attempt the clerical exam is graduation in any discipline.

Let us take a look the eligibility criteria for IBPS PO exam: Educational Qualification: For an aspirant to attempt the IBPS PO exam, the minimum educational qualification is a Graduation degree in any stream (B.A, B.Com, B.Sc. or B.Tech) from a reputed University approved by the Indian government. The Graduation marks should be mentioned during registration to attempt the IBPS PO exam. It is mandatory that the aspirant should have adequate knowledge of computer operation to attempt the IBPS PO exam in the online mode. An aspirant should also have verbal as well as written aptitude in the official language the specific State or Union Territory. The aspirant should also be able to read, write and speak the language.

Age Eligibility: The aspirant should be at least 20 years of age but should not be above 30 years. There is some relaxation for aspirants belonging to backward categories. Here is the tabular representation:
