
GAME DAY INFORMATION
ROUND 1: SATURDAY, 26 APRIL 2025
• Travel/Arrival: First IV to arrive in First IV Tennis Uniform. All First IV players must bring their Blazer with them. All other players can arrive/travel in their Tennis Uniform and/or School Tracksuit with TGS Training Shirt.
• Warm Up/Game: TGS tennis uniform requirements for players during games. Tennis shorts must be worn, PE Shorts are not acceptable. Boys are strongly encouraged to wear their TGS Tennis Cap for all games. Note: TGS socks must be worn and non-marking footwear.
• Spectators:

CANTEEN AND REFRESHMENTS
• For Saturday sport, any boys arriving on campus or travelling to away venues, including spectators, must be in School Uniform.
• Spectators or players wishing to watch the First IV must be in Blazer Dress.
• For Home Games - please wear your Akubra
• When away - TGS Cap can be worn with Blazer Dress.
• Footwear (players and spectators): Sneakers must be worn to all venues, home and away. Boys are not permitted to wear slides, thongs, crocs, deck shoes etc. Only sneakers are allowed to be worn.
All boys are encouraged to take their own food for the duration of the day to all away venues.
Canteen facilities will be available at Brisbane Boys’ College.
Toowoomba Tennis Association and UQ Tennis Courts may have a light canteen in operation with drinks and coffee available, but no hot food.
No Canteen facilities will be available at Toowoomba Grammar School or Roy Emerson Tennis Centre
All TGS Tennis Buses will depart from, and return to, the Margaret Street Loop. Boys are to arrive 15 minutes before their bus departure time. Please see below Bus Masters for each Bus:

• Bus travel will be compulsory for all boys for Term 2.
• Boys are not permitted to drive themselves or others to fixtures.
• Boys can return to Toowoomba with their parents/guardians after their game; however, they MUST advise their Bus Master before departure.
• Transport will be organised for boarders playing at Toowoomba Tennis Association.

Boarders playing at Home and Toowoomba Tennis Association will be able to have meals as per normal Dining Hall hours.
Medical attention will be available throughout the day at all venues.
• NO Alcohol is to be consumed at GPS Tennis Fixtures without the Headmaster’s permission.
• NO Smoking; all venues are non-smoking venues.
