DRESS CODE

GAME DAY INFORMATION

ROUND 1: SATURDAY, 26 APRIL 2025

• Travel/Arrival: First XI to arrive in Blazer Dress. All other players can arrive/travel in their Football Uniform and/or School Tracksuit with TGS Training Shirt. Please note, sneakers must be worn. Boys are not permitted to wear slides, thongs, crocs etc.

• Warm Up/Game: TGS Football uniform requirements for players during games. Football shorts must be worn, PE Shorts are not acceptable. Note: TGS football socks must be worn and football boots. Players must also wear shin pads.

• Spectators:

• For Saturday sport, any boys arriving on campus or travelling to away venues, including spectators, must be in School Uniform. Sneakers must be worn. Boys are not permitted to wear slides, thongs, crocs etc.

• Spectators or players wishing to watch the First XI must be in Blazer Dress by the time the First match commences.

• For away games, boys are to wear their TGS Cap instead of their Akubra.

CANTEEN AND REFRESHMENTS A canteen will be available on the day at Brisbane Boys’ College.

All TGS Football Buses will depart from, and return to, the Margaret Street Loop. Boys are to arrive 15 minutes before their bus departure time. Please see below Bus Masters for each Bus:

• Bus travel will be compulsory for all boys for Term 2.

• Boys are not permitted to drive themselves or others to fixtures.

• Boys can return to Toowoomba with their parents/guardians after their game; however, they MUST advise their Bus Master before departure.

TGS Boarders playing at Brisbane Boys’ College will receive a Meal Voucher to collect lunch from the Canteen on the day.

Additionally, packed morning tea will be provided for boarders on buses F1, F2 and F3 who depart TGS before breakfast in the Dining Hall and packed afternoon tea will be provided for boarders on buses F5 and F7 as these buses will remain back to support the First XI.

Medical attention will be available throughout the day at Brisbane Boys’ College.

• NO Alcohol is to be consumed at this event without the Headmaster’s permission.

• NO Smoking; Brisbane Boys’ College and Toowong Fields are non-smoking venues.
