GAME DAY INFORMATION
ROUND 3: SATURDAY, 15 FEBRUARY 2025
• Travel/Arrival: First XI to arrive in travel polo and warm up shorts. All other players can arrive/ travel in their School tracksuit, training uniform or cricket uniform with socks and sneakers. Please note, sneakers must be worn. Boys are not permitted to wear slides, thongs, crocs, deck shoes etc.
• Warm Up/Game: Normal cricket uniform requirements for players during games which includes TGS cricket white shirt, white long pants, TGS socks and TGS cap/wide brim hat. Note: shirts must be tucked in at all times.
• Spectators:
• For Saturday sport, any boys arriving on campus, both Home and Away, must be in School uniform, including spectators.
• Boys wishing to spectate cricket, including the First XI game, must be in their Golds uniform. Boys are not permitted to wear slides, thongs, crocs, deck shoes etc. Only sneakers are allowed to be worn by players and spectators.

A canteen will be available on the day the TGS Pavilion and Glen McCracken Sports Centre.

A canteen will be available on the day at BGS Northgate Playing Fields.

A canteen will be avialable on the day at Nudgee College.
All TGS Cricket Buses will depart from, and return to, the Margaret Street Loop. Boys are to arrive 15 minutes before their departure time. Please see below Bus Masters for each Bus:

• Bus travel will be compulsory for all boys for Term 1.
• Boys are not permitted to drive themselves or others to fixtures.
• Boys can return to Toowoomba with their parents/guardians after their game; however, they MUST advise their Bus Master before departure.
• Bus C6 has been organised to transport boarders from TGS to Anderson Park/TAFE and return.

BGS School Policy
• No alcohol is to be consumed at this event.
• No smoking; Brisbane Grammar School Northgate Playing Fields is a non-smoking venue.
• No pets allowed.
• Service/companion animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
• Due to WPHS, owners will be asked to supply documentation as proof, and the animal should be easily identified by wearing the jacket or bandana denoting the classification.
• NO alcohol is to be consumed at home or away fixtures.

Northgate Playing Fields GPS Cricket
BGS GENERAL INFORMATION
A map is available below to assist visitors in locating fields. This includes entry and exit traffic flows, oval venues, toilet facilities and medical centre.
Headmasters/Deputy’s/Directors of Sport/VIP’s
Parking off from Ring Road near the Nothling Room.
Disable Parking
Parking off main entrance prior to Ring Road.
Player drop and go Around Ring Road.
Coach/Staff Parking
Available on the right-hand side of the entry road.
Spectator Parking
Available on the left-hand side of the entry road
Exit- Will be via the exit North of spectator parking area.
Buses
Boys are to get on and off the buses at the Ring Road. Buses are to be parked in the designated bay, as directed by parking attendants at Northgate Playing Fields. Park in the bus parking area on the right-hand side of the entry road. Buses will exit via entrance gates.
Visitors Change Rooms
Visiting Schools Change Rooms are available under the Northern end of the main grandstand, or at the Change rooms at 17
First teams rooms are located underneath the grandstand on Northern end of the main grandstand.
Referees Change Room
The room for referees is located at the front of the Nothling Building (Main Grandstand).
Toilet Facilities Male and female public facilities are available on the southern side of the Pavilion.

Coaches
Coaches are required to avoid ‘walking the sideline’ and keep reserves and own school’s spectators in designated areas.
Spectating
A reminder to maintain social distancing of 1.5m. Designated spectator areas are assigned with half each field allocated to each team. The viewing mound on the left-hand side of the grandstand, as viewed from Nudgee Road is for visitors, with the right-hand side for BGS.
Medical Attention
Trainers and medics are placed around the fields throughout the day
A medical cart is based at the Medical Room, to be used by BGS Medical staff.
Field Access
The GPS Association prohibits spectators from entering the playing area before, during and immediately after a game. ONLY players, coaches and officials are to access fields. Photography, Videography, and Image Collection
Brisbane Grammar School requests that parents, legal guardians, caregivers, students and invited guests who photograph, film or record school activities, only do so for their own and appropriate personal use and do not publish the images in any form, including on social media, without the prior consent of persons whose children also appear in the images. The School does not own or control any images of students taken by parents; legal guardians, caregivers, students or their invited guests at school activities such as GPS Fixtures and Championships. Brisbane Grammar School identifies the protection and safety of children as an area of highest priority. The School has been formally recognised for successfully meeting the Safeguarding Children standards and committing itself as an organisation to the protection of children. The School has also been certified by the Australian Childhood Foundation in relation to its culture, processes and policies for safeguarding children. Brisbane Grammar School will use images of its students reasonably, appropriately, and sensitively, consistent with our obligations under the Child Safe Standards. If a parent or legal guardian or student is concerned about the use of any images, they should contact the School directly.
Post-Match Functions
This will occur with the 1st’s players, coaches and parents requested to attend the Nothling room 15 minutes after the fixture. The presentation will last approximately 15 mins and involve light refreshments for the 1st team, staff and parents.
