BRIJGHAT-“Pilgrimage Place” Brijghat is situated on the banks of River Ganga at 5 km from Garhmukteshwar located at the famous pilgrimage place which is about 35 km from the district headquarters, Harpur which is located on the Moradabad National Highway No.24. This place has emerged as a new place of pilgrimage. A huge historic fair is held on the Ganga Ghat on Kartik Purnima in Brijghat and the surrounding area. On this site, the view of the evening Aarti of Ganga Kshatra is very interesting. Brijghat lies in Garhmukteshwar; it is a Tehsil in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh state, India. According to Census 2011 information the sub-district code of Garhmukteshwar block is 00741. Total area of Garhmukteshwar is 272 km² including 237.38 km² rural area and 34.13 km² urban area. Garhmukteshwar has a population of 3,84,831 peoples. There are two railway stations in Garhmukteshwar and Garhmukteshwar Bridge (Brijghat). Both stations are situated on the Delhi-Moradabad line. You can reach Brijghat easily by road, or rail, it is not connected by Air as there is no airport, nearest airport is in Ghaziabad. The Railway Station also features all train routes from Brijghat and many states are connected directly to Brijghat.
