Tony Tata Foreign and Domestic Tony Tata is a crime novelist that has created a bestselling book, “Foreign and Domestic”. This thriller has secured the #6 spot on Barnes and Nobles bestseller list, an impressive accomplishment. The book has also been nominated for a Barry Award under the thriller category. One established crime author referred to the novel as a “pulse-pounding thriller”. “Foreign and Domestic” is a thriller about a drifter named Chayton “Jake” Mahegan, a 6-4, 230pound ex U.S. Army captain turned drifter. Mahegan once led a Delta Force team into Afghanistan to capture an American traitor that worked for the Taliban. Tragically, Mahegan lost his best friend, Sgt. Wesley Colgate on the mission. The mission was a complete disaster, as the team was infiltrated, the apprehended prisoner was killed, and Mahegan was dismissed entirely from the Army. Mahegan returns home to North Carolina, haunted by the incident and determined to clear his name. On a fateful day, Mahegan discovers a body while on a swim. Now he has become suspect to a number of agencies, including the CIA, FBI, the DHS, and of course the local sheriff of Dare County. While the sheriff proves to be a problem for Mahegan, he has a beautiful and mysterious niece, Elizabeth Locklear. While Mahegan finds her interesting, he can’t bring himself to trust her, as she has been deputized by her uncle. In time, the sheriff realizes that Mahegan is working for good, but Elizabeth’s loyalties are not so clear… During all the chaos, Mahegan has a high-ranking friend he can turn to, Major General Bob Savage. While Bob fights to clear Mahegan’s name, a respected and powerful Lieutenant General Stanley Bream is determined to secure a dishonorable discharge for Mahegan. However, when the American Taliban traitor Adam Wilhoyt returns to America, Mahegan becomes the only man that knows how to stop him. The only trouble is, Mahegan no longer has the authority to take action, or the credibility to be heard. So the threat to American security known on the internet as “Mullah Adnam”, has a threatening plot that only Mahegan can stop, so long as his fellow good guys don’t get in the way. The success of Tony Tata as a crime novelist has been largely attributed to “Foreign and Domestic”, his breakout novel. After topping the bestseller charts for that book, Mr. Tata hopes his new novel, “Three Minutes to Midnight” will see similar success.
