We're targeting discrimination in football. Can you help?

We are taking a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination in football. We’re calling on clubs and leagues like your own to report hate, prejudice or discrimination whenever you see it or hear it.
For those people who behave in a racist, sexist or homophobic way, the message is clear. Enough is Enough.
When we know it has happened, we can take the actions needed to remove discriminatory behaviour. We'll be doing so through a range of punishments:
• Players will be removed from play and suspended.
• Teams can have points deducted.
• Grounds can be closed for repeat offenders.
Together we can end hate in football.
Spread the word that discrimination of all forms will be punished. Share with your welfare officers, league and club officials, and everyone across your league and clubs.
We want everyone across grassroots football to know...

Visiting Club History:

Founded in August 1893 as Enfield Spartans by John Bruce Skinner the club spent their initial season playing friendlies. They entered their first league the Tottenham & District Junior Alliance for the season 1894-95. Moving to the larger Tucker's Field they joined the North Middlesex League in 1896 which was won in 1901-02 and 1902-03 after which 'senior' status was attained. In 1900 the Spartans was dropped which was accompanied by a move to Cherry Orchard Lane in 1903 and they joined the London League (Div2) which was won in 1911 and promotion to the Premier Division. In 1912 Enfield FC was invited to become a founder member of the Athenian League and in 1913-14 the Middlesex Senior cup was won for the first time.
Football was suspended during WW1 and on resumption they spent a season in the Middlesex & London league before returning to the Athenian League in 1921 a championship that was not won until 1961-62 and was retained in 1962-63. In1934-35 Enfield finished second in the league reached the semi-finals of the FA Amateur Cup and won the London senior Cup for the first time before moving to a new purpose-built stadium at Southbury Road in 1936. The Athenian league was suspended during WWII although the E's did compete in the Herts. & Middlesex Combination for a short period. In 1945 Jack Rawlings and Len West both gained international caps and Hendon were defeated 1-0 in the Middlesex Senior Cup final at White Hart Lane in 1959-60 England Amateur international centre forward Tommy Lawrence netted a club record 49 goals in one season. In 1963 Enfield Hendon Hitchin and Sutton were invited to join the Isthmian League Enfield were particularly successful during this period as they finished champions on seven occasions including two hat tricks. In 1966-67 and 1969-70 the FA Amateur Cup was won and there were further visits to the twin towers (Wembley) as they reached the 1963-64 and 1971-72 finals. Enfield also won the European Amateur Cup in 1970 and the Hitachi Challenge Cup in 1979 and 1980 as well as the Middlesex and London senior cups on numerous occasions. During this 1970s period Enfield defeated football league clubs, Wimbledon & Northampton Town in the F A cup.
Enfield joined the Alliance Premier League (Now Conference) in 1981-82 and found immediate success. Having finished runners up at the first attempt they went one better in 1982/83 by securing the championship on the last day of the season at the home of the previous champions Runcorn. This was won for a second time in 1985/86, but relegation overtook them in a disastrous 1989-90 campaign. During the 1980s the FA Trophy was won in 1982 and 1988 with "Lincoln City" being beaten en route. Also, during this period Football League clubs Wimbledon (again) Hereford, Port Vale, Exeter & Orient all succumbed to Enfield in the FA Cup. Enfield won the 1994-95 Isthmian league title by fourteen points and the following season finished level on points but lost the title to Hayes on goal difference by just one goal 1996-97 season saw them finish runners up for a second successive season; But Enfield did have more FA Cup success during the 1990s defeating Aldershot, Torquay, Cardiff & Chesterfield. The Southbury Road stadium was controversially sold for development in 1999, Decline set in and after struggling to preserve their Premier Division status during 1999-2000 & 2001-02 2003.
The E's were relegated for only the second time in their history at the end of the 2002-03 season followed by a second successive relegation in 2003-04 into division 2. Enfield was being run by a new committee from November 2003 as they started the long hard journey to remove the club from the former owners failed business. The new committee that came into the club during the 2003/04 season had a successful first season in Ryman division 2 which saw the E's win promotion into the Southern League East division 1 with a mid-table finish secured. Season 2006/07 saw the E's moved back to Ryman division 1 with another mid table finish. But another cruel twist forced the E's to resign and rename as Enfield 1893 FC after the fight to remove the club from the former owner’s debt was lost and E's found themselves in the Essex senior League. The E's finished season 2007/08 level on points but as in the 1994/95 season lost out on goal difference. Hoping to go one better than in 2008/09 The E’s finished second again and reached the final of the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy losing 3-1,
For the 2009/10 season Enfield moved closer to the Borough of Enfield by ground sharing at Broxbourne Borough FC after a run in the FA Cup that ended in defeat by Conference South highflyers Chelmsford City the season petered out with Enfield finishing fourth in the League. 2010 Enfield moved back in the borough after 11 years away, at Brimsdown Rovers ground. In our first season
back in the borough at Goldsdown Road we reached the League cup final losing to Stansted FC and also becoming the Essex Senior League champions but were denied promotion to step four due to the Goldsdown Road ground not meeting certain criteria. The 2011/12 season hopes where we would go one better than last season by winning the league and gaining promotion to step 4 but after a good run in the FA Vase to the fourth round the season fell away and we finished in seventh place in the league. In the 2012/13 season we finished 9th in the league & a good run in the FA Vase to the fourth round again.
The 2013/14 season was a good one finishing in 3rd spot with 91pts, the winning team had 92pts & going out in the 2nd round of the FA Vase. Under a new management team in the 2014/15 season & moving to the Harlow Arena, because Brimsdown didn’t meet ground grading we finished disappointing in 16th position & going out in the 1st round of the FA Vase.
The 2015/16 we finished in 20th position & going out in 1st qualifying round of FA Vase. The 2016/17 finishing in 19th position & made to the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Vase. In 2017/18 season Enfield finished in 9th position & made it to the 3rd round of the FA Vase. In 2018/19 season Enfield finished in 14th position and made it to the 2nd round of the FA Vase. The 2019/2020 & 2020/2021 seasons were not completed due to the Covid pandemic. In season 2021/22 Enfield finished 5th in the league, reached the 1st Qualifying Round of the FA Cup and won the Errington Challenge Cup, beating Cockfosters 3-2 at Great Wakering FC.
Enfield won the Essex Senior League Championship in 2022/23 and gained promotion to step 4 competing in the Isthmian League Division One North (2023/24) season. In the FA Cup we reached the Preliminary Round and in the league we finished in 18th position. In 2024/25 season we finished 12th in the Southern League Central Division playing our home games at Hertford Town’s ground. In the FA Cup we reached the 1st Qualifying Round and progressed to the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy.

Biggleswade F.C. 1 vs 0 Leverstock Green
After two straight wins and five games unbeaten, Leverstock Green were unable to keep their run of results going despite a good performance away to playoff contenders Biggleswade FC. A goal midway through the second half decided a game in which Leverstock were missing skipper Dan Pett, who was unavailable, and the suspended Joe McCarthy. Leverstock might have gone in front in the 15th minute when a corner from Carmicheal Uchenna looked to be going straight in at the far post until it was headed off the line by Sonny Coughlin-Brown. In the 38th minute Iker Noguera Leon tried a clever free kick routine to put Jeffrey Sekyere in on goal, but he miscued his shot wide.
Green keeper Ashton Broome-Alexander did well to turn a long-range shot from Michael Fisher wide in the 42nd minute, while another free kick from Leon was headed wide by Uchenna in the 45th minute. Broome-Alexander pulled off another great save in stoppage time to deny Alex Marsh from point blank range.
It was a similar story in the second half, with Broome-Alexander called into action again in the 54th minute to tip over a rasping shot from Tom Coles. Leverstock had a chance four minutes later when a great pass from George Mitchell-Gears gave Radu-Mihai Stefanoaica a run at goal, but his shot went into the side netting. A minute later Mitchell-Gears had a chance himself from a free kick, but his header was straight at the keeper.
The winning goal came in the 71st minute and it was very tough on Broome-Alexander, who first of all got a fingertip to a shot from Marsh to turn in onto the post, then got a hand to the follow-up effort from Bradley
Bell, but could do nothing to stop Ryan Gray following in to net the rebound.
Leverstock were unable to find an equaliser in the remaining minutes, and there was a messy end to the game when skipper Ryan Carruthers was sent off for two yellow cards within a minute during stoppage time, and coach Aaron Eales was also dismissed for something said to the referee.

Leverstock Green 5 vs 0 AFC Dunstable
Leverstock Green added another crucial three points to their total with an impressive win over bottom side AFC Dunstable in Tuesday night’s Southern League Division One Central fixture.
An early goal was vital for the Leverstock side to settle their nerves, and it took just six minutes for them to open the scoring, as Iker Noguera Leon had a shooting chance on the edge of the box and hit a low shot out of the reach of keeper Noah Vaughan into the corner of the net. The second goal was not long arriving, as George Mitchell-Gears fired home a half-volley from just inside the box to notch the first goal of his current spell at the club.
There could have been a third in the 23rd minute as a neat passing move put Leon through on goal, but Vaughan got a hand to his shot to tip it round the post. Five minutes later Radu-Mihai Stefanoaica made a run into the box but his shot from a narrow angle was kept out by Vaughan’s legs. Leon had another shooting chance in the 38th minute but hit it straight at Vaughan.
The young AFC Dunstable side came more into the game in the last ten minutes of the half, and a foul from Olusegun Adedipe gave them a free kick just outside the box, but the shot was saved by Ashton BroomeAlexander.
Leverstock struggled to make any further ground early in the second half, and Broome-Alexander had to make another good save in the 59th minute to keep out a shot from a narrow angle. A double substitution on the hour saw Jack Allen and Luke Beckwith introduced, and added some pep to the Leverstock side.
Broome-Alexander made another crucial save in the 68th minute to punch away a dangerous cross, and within a minute Leverstock had their third goal. Allen hit a shot from the edge of the box which took a deflection off a defender and looped up over Vaughan’s head into the net as the big striker scored his first goal for the club.
Leverstock were playing with more freedom now, and top scorer Jeffrey Sekyere added his name to the scoresheet in the 78th minute, cutting in from the left on a solo run before drilling home a low shot from a narrow angle. There was more to come in the first minute of stoppage time as Allen went on a solo run into the box before firing home his second of the night and completing Leverstock’s biggest ever win in the Southern League.

Leverstock Green 2 vs 1 Marlow
Leverstock Green pulled a further three points away from the relegation zone with a crucial 2-1 win against Marlow in Saturday’s Southern League fixture, their fourth win in the last five games.
Leverstock welcomed back midfielder Ademide Baruwa, who rejoined from Northwood during the week, and after starting on the bench Baruwa was quickly into the action, replacing Marcus Warren, who had an eye injury, in the 17th minute. Another early enforced change saw Joe McCarthy, back from a two-game suspension, having to leave the game injured in the 24th minute to be replaced by Iker Noguera Leon.
The first half saw little in the way of clear-cut chances for either side. Late in the half Marlow won two free kicks in dangerous positions just outside the box, but both of them were hit straight at the wall. In the last minute of the half Radu-Mihai Stefanoaica’s pass gave Carmicheal Uchenna a run at goal, but his shot from a narrow angle was saved by keeper James Sharlott.
Two goals early in the second half put Leverstock in control. In the 49th minute a neat passing move was completed when Uchenna’s pass put Jeffrey Sekyere through on goal, and the club’s top scorer made no mistake, slipping the ball under Sharlott to open the scoring. Another impressive goal came three minutes later. Leon’s pass put Sekyere away down the left channel, and his low cross into the box was met by Stefanoaica to finish from close range for a 2-0 Leverstock lead.
There could have been further goals, with Baruwa having a shot saved by Sharlott in the 63rd minute, and Sekyere dribbling through only to shoot over the bar in the 66th minute.
Marlow had shown little threat to the Leverstock goal, but there was a danger sign in the 79th minute when Sebastian D’Aversa hit a shot just wide. Five minutes later the same player was there on the edge of the box when the ball dropped to him, and finished with a shot into the
corner of the net to pull a goal back and ensure another nervous finish for the Leverstock followers.
The two-goal lead could have been re-established in the 87th minute when Rio Beach broke away and set up Jack Allen, but Allen’s first shot was blocked and his follow-up effort was kept out by Sharlott’s legs.More than eight minutes of stoppage time were played, but as has been the case in recent games, Leverstock held their nerve and were able to get the win over the line.

Leverstock Green 0 vs 2
Hertford Town
Prior to this match Leverstock Green had won their last four home matches, but they were unable to make it five in a row as a disappointing performance saw them go down 2-0 to Hertford Town in Tuesday night’s Southern League fixture. It was a generally scrappy match, with few chances for either side. Leverstock had the game’s first clear chance in the 15th minute when a pass from Carmicheal Uchenna put Jeffrey Sekyere through on goal, but his eventual shot was straight at keeper James Callan. Two minutes later Iker Noguera Leon made a run into the box and hit a rasping shot from a narrow angle, but Callan turned it wide.
Hertford had a great chance to open the scoring in the 40th minute, but a shot from point-blank range was deflected wide of the post off one of their own players. However, within a minute they did find the net, as Marcus Painter found space on the edge of the box to hit a low shot past Ashton Broome-Alexander.
The second half was equally low on quality, with Leverstock being unable to hang onto the ball or do anything with it in the last third of the field. They were still in the game until the 76th minute when Hertford broke away down the right. Zen Cunningham’s cross found Painter, whose shot was saved, but Noah Mosanya bundled the rebound home to put Hertford 2-0 up, a lead that was not threatened in the remaining minutes of the game.

Leighton Town 2 vs 0 Leverstock Green
Leverstock Green came away from their visit to Leighton Town with a second straight 2-0 defeat, but it was an excellent performance against the in-form league leaders, and a competitive encounter.
Leverstock were without top scorer Jeffrey Sekyere and central defender Olusegun Adedipe due to injury, and started with a 5-4-1 formation intended to contain the Leighton side. It worked well initially, with the home side having few chances in the early stages other than a chance in front of goal for BJ Christie in the 4th minute that was blocked by Rio Beach.
Ryan Carruthers had Leverstock’s best effort at goal with a shot from the edge of the box which went just wide in the 13th minute. However in the 17th minute Sydney Ibie got on the wrong side of Dan Casey, and when Casey pulled back the Leighton striker, it was a simple decision for the referee to award a penalty. Ibie took the kick himself, but it was kept out by a brilliant save from Ashton Broome-Alexander. However, the pressure continued. The resulting corner was blocked wide for another corner, and this one found Ibie at the far post to head back across goal for Sam McClelland to net from close range.
There was still only a single goal in it at half time, and the second half was equally competitive. In the 50th minute Ibie got through on goal but was denied again by a superb save from Broome-Alexander. Godlove Oppong almost added a second goal in the 65th minute but his shot from a narrow angle hit the post. A minute later at the other end Carruthers made a run into the box. His shot was blocked and looped up to George MitchellGears, whose header was deflected wide by a defender.
Leverstock were still in the game as it went into stoppage time, but a second goal in the third added minute put it out of their reach. Again it came from a corner as Oppong bundled home from close range.

By Matt Badcock,
Editor, The Non-League Paper
THE Class of 92 at Salford City, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney turbo-charging Wrexham and even Boyzone rocking up at Chorley, the Non-League game has long been appealing to celebrity investors.
And that shows no signs of slowing.
“The game is evolving and so are we,” said Dagenham & Redbridge chairman Anwar Uddin, who captained the club to the Football League back in 2007.
It came as the National League South club revealed YouTube star KSI was becoming a shareholder. KSI boasts over 17 million subscribers and over four billion views on his main channel. He is also a main judge on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.
In a statement, the 32-year-old told of his dream to take Dagenham & Redbridge all the way to the Premier League.
“I’m so excited to start this journey,” the megastar said. “It’s gonna be a rollercoaster for sure but I hope to bring Dagenham and Redbridge back to the glory days. And once we reach that point, I want to go even further.
“Reaching the Premier League would be a dream. And I believe it is 100% doable. It will take a long time, so to the Daggers fans, please be patient.
“I want you to know that I am fully committed to making sure Dagenham and Redbridge is a team that everyone will know worldwide, and will be an exciting team to watch and support.
“I’ve been watching games secretly at home for months on YouTube streams so it feels so good to finally show my support publicly.”
As it would happen, Daggers won their first game under KSI’s watchful gaze when they beat league leaders
Dorking Wanderers 1-0.
Of course, opinions will vary on any celebrity involvement – as it did at Salford and Wrexham – but it’s fair to say the digital eyes of the world are on NonLeague like never before. Technology has made the world a much smaller place and the game’s reach is greater than ever. Digital content is a huge factor in raising that awareness.
Last weekend, Witham Town enjoyed their biggest attendance in history – 1,205 – after YouTuber Ellis Platten encouraged his army of followers from his popular Away Days channel down to watch Town’s game against Gorleston in the Isthmian North.
“I think the English pyramid is the best in the world for many reasons,” Platten, who boasts 587,00 subscribers, said. “But one of the reasons is you can go anywhere in the country and within five minutes there will be a team which has a community to it. I don’t think there is anywhere else in the world that can rival that.”

A few words about KitAid
KitAid is a charity set up by, Derrick Williams MBE, who visited Tanzania on a WaterAid supporters’ trip in 1998. Derrick, being a mad footie fan, was amazed at the reception he received from children and adults in remote villages just because he was wearing one of his favourite football shirts (he follows Watford, Liverpool and Chesham Utd).
After two weeks in Tanzania, a flame was lit in Derrick’s heart, and he was on a mission to provide kit and equipment to the bare-footed children playing with footballs made of tied string and plastic bags. Twenty-one years on, KitAid has lots of volunteers and to date we’ve sent out 900,000+ kits to children and adults in 55 different countries across the world.
How to donate
If you’d like to support the KitAid cause, the easiest way to donate your unwanted football kit, in order for us to find it a new home.
Alternatively, if you don’t have any unwanted kit, but would still like to support us, we’re very grateful for any donations which will help to fund our annual costs as well as support other partnership charities where possible.
We thank you for all your support.
In working in some of the most under-privileged countries around the world, The Football Association is no stranger to seeing the impact the donation of something as simple as a shirt or a pair of shorts can make. KitAid has brought an enormous amount of pleasure and enjoyment to young and old alike through the gift of football kit and has shared the spirit of British clubs and the England team with communities in all corners of the globe. We are proud to be associated with KitAid and wish them all the best in their endeavours for the years to come.

LEVERSTOCK GREEN | LEVELS RISING
It's been a successful journey for Nat Connolly

The story of Nat Connolly’s rise through the levels to go on to make 100 appearances for Leverstock Green is inspiring.
The all-action midfield general had racked up over a century of appearances for Totternhoe at Step 7 by the age of 21 to earn his chance with Green in the summer of 2023.
His determined displays in the engine room of the side helped the club secure promotion into the Southern League where Connolly has thrived over the past 14 months.
“I remember joining the club and worrying that the jump in level would be too much for me,” he admitted to us. “I’d previously
played all of my football at Step 7, so I didn’t know if I would be able to get to grips with Step 5.
“I joined the club not knowing anyone and feeling that I had a lot to prove, but I was made to feel welcome by everyone straight away and that really helped me to hit the ground running.
“With the help and support of those around me, I knuckled down, worked hard and that first season was really memorable as we secured promotion into the Southern League.
“Then the question is can I do it at Step 4? Last season we managed to achieve our objective of staying at this level and I was pleased with the way in which I adapted to the added demands of this level.
“To have reached 100 appearances in just under two and-a-half seasons means a lot. I am proud to have established myself in the team and I’m really enjoying my football amongst some great people.”
Saturday’s 100th game saw Connolly put in an energetic display in a 1-1 draw at Northwood.
“I felt that I played well,” he added. “I try and base my game on energy and I made sure that I kept the levels high. I tried to get forward a bit more and almost nicked a goal at one point.
“We weren’t happy with our first half performance, but we managed to get a grip of things after the break and deservedly equalised. Sadly, it was too little too late in terms of being able to find a winner and we had to be content with a point in the end.
“We know that we need to start turning some of our draws into wins in order to start climbing the table.
“There have already been a few surprise results this season throughout the division; it’s clear that everyone is capable of beating each other and it’s going to be very competitive once more.
“First and foremost our main aim is to survive, but I believe that we can achieve more and there is no reason why we can't improve upon last season’s finishing position. We’ve got a season’s experience under our belt now and we know that we have to pick up as many points as we can early on to give us a base to build on for the second half of the season.
“We seem to perform well against the better teams, but it’s the games against those teams around us where we need to start picking up more points.
“In terms of personal targets, I just want to keep enjoying my football and continue to play regularly.”
A home game against high-flying Ware is next up for Connolly and his team-mates at the weekend.
