1 CISCO INTERDISCIPLINARY COMPETITION DESIGN

CONCEPT & B - This was an extracurricular project where students from different disciplines, collaborated to create and J design a concept for sustainable housing. include Architecture, Alternative Energy, IT, E Disciplines and Interior Design.

C - As the only Interior Design Technologist on the team, I was tasked with creating a mood board and word T for the concept of the design. I was also tasked with Interior floor plans, Interior renderings, and I developing final presentation boards; using AutoCAD, Sketchup, V and InDesign.

- Our team won 1st place overall in the competition.

E Through this experience, I was able to further develop

my collaboration and communication skills, and properly organize and create deadlines that were met on time.

CONCEPT & B - This was the final design project which was done as a group.

Students were tasked in collaborating to create a design for J the Barbacoa restaurant, which was also a scholarship project

by CK Design.

E sponsored - I was given the responsibility of project manager and C designed the layout for the washroom and logo design.

- The Perspectives and Presentation boards were finalized by T other members in the group.

Through this, it allowed me to further develop my I -communication and collaboration skills, while managing V deadlines for our group and meeting the minimum requirements of the client directive.

11 BUZZ WORKSPACE DESIGN

CONCEPT & B - This project was done in the INDT 2320 Design class as a group project J - Students were to work together to create a space for Hive – Buzz Work-Space.

E Urban - For the individual portion, students designed the floor C space, determine furniture placement and come up with a final rendered plan accompanied by a T presentation board.

Concept is based on the corporate thoughts of I -The Utilitarianism: The Greatest happiness for the greatest number of V “The people”. people E

CONCEPT & B - Contracted under Hiveworld to create interior layouts and renderings using Revit and Enscape. As well as J creating specification lists for mill-work and that will all be used in a renovated honey E appliances bee extraction facility.

C - Throughout the project, I was tasked with speaking with various contractors and learning to T coordinate deadlines and follow company guidelines I throughout the design.

CONCEPT & B - During my time at DIALOG, I designed and developed concepts and working drawings for the J creation of new custom millwork, including a reception and various other custom millwork pieces for the E desk Sherwood Park Go Auto Outlet.

C - I enhanced my Revit skills by incorporating various techniques, such as extrusions, custom components, T and void forms.

CONCEPT & B - For this project, my scope involved creating detailed millwork elevations and sections while coordinating with J various disciplines to determine the optimal placement sinks and other mechanical components within the E of space.

25 CITY HALL RENOVATION REVIT

CONCEPT & B - The City hall scope included the renovation of existing spaces throughout the 3 levels, this required site visits to J examine existing conditions which was followed by creating a Revit model from scratch.

E new - In addition to this, my tasks were creating a cartoon set and C developing schematic and design development drawings that would then refined into construction documents.

T - This project provided me with a unique opportunity to in every aspect, from initial site visits to creating the I engage model within Revit. It marked a valuable experience for V comprehending project phases at a granular level.

CONCEPT & B -This was one of the first projects I was tasked in creating floor plans, elevations and sections while being J employed by the millworking company, Selenium E Interiors.

- This was the new home being built for the owner of C Rescom Inc. - I was responsible for creating working drawings for the T closets, bedrooms and all millwork included in the entire I building.

- Regular site visits were required on my end to update V the drawings to have the most accuracy so the fabrication team can build the millwork.

CONCEPT & B - In memory of his late wife who had a passion for reading, a client named Joe Cairo wanted to create 2 J bookshelves. One stationary and one moveable. scope of work included site measuring, creating E -aThe 3D model using SketchUp and creating fabrication C drawings in AutoCAD - This took creativity and ingenuity since the moveable T book shelf was to appear fixed but acting as a secret Different methods and testing was done I compartment. to find the optimal solution while meeting the budget of V the client.

CONCEPT & B -This was a semester long, individual project for the architecture elective course.

J - Students were given different scenarios with outlining different needs and wants of a E requirements client looking to construct a residential home C - The final deliverables consisted of full working drawings including floor plans, elevations & section details.

T - This allowed me to further develop my technical ability AutoCAD, further expanding the base knowledge of I ininterior residential design to architectural residential V design and construction documentation.

CONCEPT & B - This was an individual project from the INDT 1220 Design course.

J - Using skills and techniques learned in class the design process (Adjacency matrix, E about bubble diagrams, test fits, etc.)

This was my first experience in understanding C -client needs & organizing all the information of a T space and to plan out a appropriate layout for clients need & vision.

I the - Through the use of bubble diagrams & test fits, I V could come to understand that planning requires various steps and the feedback of other E designers & the client.

- I also incorporated my knowledge of SketchUp to come up with a quick rendered view of the space.

CONCEPT & B - This was a concept kitchen design for a new line of kitchen cabinets created by Selenium Interiors.

J The intent was to create a show kitchen where across Canada are able to pick modular E clients sizes of cabinets.

I was tasked with creating concept models of C -the kitchen show room, as well as 3D cabinets T that would be showcased on the company I website.
