for pre-implant bone surgery from
SATELEC®
The Piezotome Solo is the ideal partner for all dentists and implantologists who want to be able to cut hard tissue with the greatest possible power and least possible risk, simply, reliably and with micrometer precision – for osteotomy, osteoplasty, sinus lift and bone splitting. Equipped with the latest ultrasonic technology, an easyto-use controls and an “Essential Kit” including six tips, it is a second-generation high-tech piezoelectric device that has been specifically designed for pre-implant applications and is cost-effective too! With its extremely high power, the Piezotome Solo allows precise and controlled cutting without postoperative complications. With the change between high and low signal intensity, the tissue can recover and the cells can quickly regenerate. Controlled peak power down to the tip of the instrument: The “Cruise Control® System” offers three command systems for power and frequency regulation: automatic frequency tuning, a push-pull system for precise and constant control of the vibration amplitude from 30 to 60 micrometers and a feedback system
that immediately adapts the power according to the resistance encountered by the surgical tip. The four preset modes correspond to the bone density classification or the indications osteotomy, osteoplasty, sinus lift and bone splitting. Piezotome Solo cuts precisely and without bleeding in the bone with minimal cutting width and without pressure combined with maximum soft tissue conservation. This means ergonomic, non-tiring work for the practitioner and a high level of comfort for the patient during treatment. The handpiece does not heat up and has no loss of performance after long surgical procedures.
from SATELEC®:
A VERSATILE CBCT DEVICE WITH ALL-INCLUSIVE SOFTWARE PACKAGES With the new WhiteFox from SATELEC (ACTEON Group), oral surgeons, implantologists, orthodontists and ENTs have a digital cone beam computed tomography of the latest generation that gives them precise and reliable 3D x-ray data from the entire oral-maxillofacial area in the shortest time with one scan.
The large 200 x 170 mm field of view enables WhiteFox to produce a precise twodimensional x-ray image for cephalometric analysis at a 1:1 ratio – in just one scan!
WhiteFox is the first Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) system to use the Hounsfield scale, long-established in medical computer tomography. This enables a very precise and constant measurement of the tissue density in grayscale and allow comparison of pre- and post-surgical analyses. The practitioner can better decide from the differentiated projection of the bone quality whether immediate implantation is a promising option for the patient. In addition, the practitioner also has an exact projection of the airways based on virtual slices (virtual endoscopy).
Another impressive feature of the new DVT stand unit is the fast reconstruction time. After less than a minute, the result is visible on the screen. The WhiteFox imaging software then makes the analysis easier with the help of various powerful image processing functions for visualization, diagnosis and treatment planning. For an open program architecture, measurements can be effortlessly integrated with existing DICOM compatible programs and also exported into any type of surgery guidance software.
