FESTIVAL GREETINGS FROM THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR
It is my sincere pleasure to welcome everyone to the Feast of Tabernacles and the Last Great Day!
Each year God’s people assemble for eight days. We leave our homes, our work, perhaps family and friends, to gather for the purpose of learning to “Fear the LORD your God always” (Deuteronomy 14:23). WHY? Because the Prince of Peace is coming!
When that 7th trumpet sounds, the saints will join Jesus Christ, and together, put an end to the endless conflicts, the wars, the divisions, the pain and suffering that has plagued the human race for 6000 years. From the earliest conflict between Cain and Abel, humanity has failed to learn the way of peace. As we tearfully watch the increasing conflicts between nations, it is becoming ever clearer that this world has been turned upside down and in serious trouble!
However, Revelation 1:6 and 5:10 reveals that the Saints of the Most High will also become Kings and Priests and we will reign on this earth with Jesus Christ. This is not simply a feel-good notion of dreamers, but a soon coming reality which carries enormous implications for you and all the families on earth. We have been given the opportunity to turn this world, right-side up and bring order back to humanity! God speed that day!
The Feast is also a wonderful time to renew friendships and forge new ones. Use this time to recharge your spiritual batteries and remember, we are sojourners and pilgrims in this world and the temporary dwellings, “booths”, we are staying in should serve as a daily reminder of how temporary our lives are. Let’s make every day special by drawing closer to God and to each other. In each Feast site, coordinators have planned numerous activities for us to enjoy. As we go out, please always remember we are ambassadors of the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ. Ensure that our conduct and conversations reflect God in every way.
Remember, the Feast can be a busy and exhausting time – try not to burn the candle at both ends. Strive to keep up with your prayers, take time to read your Bible, and find some quiet time to meditate on the messages that have been prayerfully delivered. Please take time to become familiar with this Festival Planner – it contains relevant information and important announcements to help you during your stay.
Finally, may God be with each of you, and that He bless this Feast of Tabernacles beyond our expectations!
Have a wonderful Feast,

NOTES

BUSINESS DESK
Enquiries regarding activities, transport and announcements should be directed to the Business Desk. Office hours are half an hour before and after services except on the Holy Days and Sabbath.
PRAYER & BIBLE STUDY
The Feast is an exciting and busy time with lots of activities, but we must remember not to neglect our prayer and Bible Study. If we do, we will fail to appreciate the amazing spiritual aspects of this Holy Day season and things will not go as well for us!
COUNSELLING
Ministers are available for counselling if needed. Please contact the Business Desk Coordinator on the phone number found at the front of the brochure and he will put you in contact with a minister.
IF YOU ARE UNWELL
If you have symptoms of a contagious illness, do not come to services to be anointed. Please call the Business Desk Coordinator on the phone number found at the front of the brochure. Do not bring sick children to services or activities.
DRESS CODE FOR SERVICES
Remember that in attending services at the Feast, we are gathering before God. Therefore, our dress should be regular Sabbath wear. We also seek to set a clean and modest example to others around us. Please make sure to dress appropriately for all activities.

FESTIVAL
HOLY DAY OFFERINGS
Prepare to give offerings on the First Day of the Feast and the Last Great Day.
SEATING
If you reserve seats ahead of time, please do so only for yourself and your family, not for a large group of friends who have not yet arrived. Please do not move other members’ Bibles, notebooks or other personal belongings which have been used to reserve seats. Members without children, and all who have no need to exit during services, should try to sit on the inside or centre of the row. Parents with small children should sit nearer the back. Please be sure you keep any unoccupied seat free of Bibles, books or other personal items. Please note that from time to time ushers may ask you to move if required. Please be courteous and compliant with their requests.
FROM THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR
CHILD BEHAVIOUR
Parents are responsible for the care and behaviour of their children at all times, especially at services. It is Church policy for children and teens to sit with their parents or with a friend and their parents during services. The Feast is a time for families to grow together.
GENERAL BEHAVIOUR
Remember we are all representatives of God’s Family. Our behaviour at services, and Church functions as well as at activities are on display for all to see. Be that great servant of God in all you think, say and do!
