ELDA

The companion droid of caregivers.

ELDA is a "following droid� which helps the daily tasks of the helpers in the retirement homes. This little droid facilitates the overloaded caregivers: treating multiple patients at a time, reducing patient nervousness, and dealing with these nauseating odors.

A TwinswheEll revisited for retirement homes.

I chose to go on the medical path and more particularly retirement homes because many problems remain to be solved today. Living near to a retirement home, I interviewed a resident to understand the service set up within the establishment.

Presentation of the TwinswheEll to Strate. Find a service adapted to the use of TwinswhEell.

On the medical path, I went to the nursing home near my home and interviewed a patient.

I came up with some insights in noting several problems concerning the retirement home service.

Looking for a concept around the revisited TwinswhEel, reflection on the service provided to caregivers.

To restore contact through aromatherapy.

The major problem in the ecosystem was the close relationship between caregivers and residents. Devaluation of the status, complaints of families, overbooked with nauseating odors. Aromatherapy is proving to be an effective new solution, reducing the annoyance of residents who regain appetite and appeasement.

The error in the drug trials is set through the FOLO storage system.

FOLO is medical furniture that has the necessary medical equipment to care for clients.

01 MEMORISED TASKS FOLO has memorization of meal trays for each customer on each trolley.

A complete service and a collective dimension.

02 BRING YOUR LUNCH Thanks to its pallet truck arms, FOLO can bring a meal tray to the patient's bed.

ELDA can help thtte entire team in a retirement home. Quick spots, emergency interventions, odor diffusion. It can go looking for a meal tray, push a laundry trolley, sort the drugs... It can participate in emergency actions, this is a collective dimension between machines that allows rapid intervention and ensures good complementarity with the medical team.

03 EMERGENCY RESPONSE In case of emergency, 2 droids nearby can nest together to generate a bag.

The idea of going for a walk in the forest blindfolded made us aware of the haptic senses to orientate ourselves.

The realization of an experimental prototype proved necessary to test the haptic perception in our project.

Many tests done in classrooms with many obstacles, levels of difficulties in order to create the best language adapted.

It was important to have our new haptic language approved by blind people.

At a seminar organized by ENSCi that brought together researchers and engineers, we had the opportunity to show THEIA.

THEIA was presented during a Hackathon Challenge to many investors, which earned us a place on the podium.

The haptic perception as a solution?

We had to go on the construction of a prototype and do several experiments to find out if the haptic solution was the right solution. It turned out that it worked wonderfully, so we created a system with sensory substitution

01 REALISATION 20 vibrators, 1 arduino, 1 battery, we wanted to send pulsations ordered from switches.

02 TESTING UX ORIENTATION The study of the precise placements of each vibrator took us to tests for orientation in space (Left-Right).

03 TESTING UX OBSTACLE Simultaneous pulsations sent on the shin, namely the height of crossing over obstacles.

04 DIRTY PROTOTYPING We conducted a multitude of tests in a classroom with several levels of difficulty depending on the obstacles.

05 USER INTERFACE LANGUAGE Brought to create a new language, the coding of the pulsations and the locations of the vibrators gave this rosette stone.

06 APPROBATION To validate our experiments, we went to the Valentin Hauy Foundation to test our prototype on blind people.

Interactive luggage rack

Follow is an intelligent self-service luggage rack that estimates and offers the traveler opportunities for activities before taking the train. The notion of time changes to make the station a peaceful space and to encourage the shops frequentating and cultural places of the train station.

To choose a public place to use the AI and the datas to answer the problems: we left on the space of the station of Lyon, in order to solve the conflict between traveling baggages and the abundance of the circulations of the travelers.

Supervised by an AI specialist, we thought of a simple concept, addressing the theme of freedom of travel.

This project is the fusion of 2 concepts based on the same space in the station, ensuring the relevance of FOLO.

Often taking the train, knowing the behavior of passersby in the train stations. Rethinking the system of dragging your suitcase.

We participated in a week-long challenge organized by SNCF between Strate and two other schools.

The notion of time changes to make the station a peaceful space and encourage the frequentation of shops and cultural places.

The FOLO’s course adapts to a continuous mapping device of the station which evaluates overcrowded places, waiting and circulation. The user thus free of his movements has the choice to follow or be followed by FOLO.

It changes the time proposing to the traveler activities before taking the train.

It offers you a premium status for priority access during boarding in optimized comfort and improved flow management.

Activities that the traveler has time to do paying (commercial) - free from the station - essentials (toilets, seats and outlets).

The businesses can be promoted by financing FOLO. It evaluates and takes the ideal speed to get to the train and activities on time.

The color bubbles evaluate if he has a lot, medium or little time to do the concerned activity.

2DIVE

An authentic story through pairs of sneakers.

A particular inspiration for the marine and organic world, we turned to the legends of our ancestors. The kraken, legend or reality? This monster that terrorized the users of shipping and our pirates adored.

Octopus, octopus, monster with 8 tentacles, call it as you want, is the object and inspiration of our creation.

A brainstorming for several evenings took place, in order to choose an original and striking axis.

The legend of Kraken, octopus and vikings inspired us, so we watched a lot of documentaries.

Creative phase during which we sought to put subtleties that was thought of the myth of Kraken, this giant octopus.

Winners of Besight Contest by presenting this concept, we have a filmed interview to explain our creative approach.

A 3D format of our concept was soon to take shape, I decided to embark me on a clay sculpture.

Actively on the development of this project, we would like to start the 3D modeling of this shoe.

01 OBSERVATION To analyse the behaviour of the octopus is an important step in the realization of our project.

Ink inside the sole.

02 TEXTURES RESEARCH

In the idea of the Kraken, we were inspired by the concept of an ink that would be incorporated in the shoe and for that we had the idea to create a container or we see an ink react to the movements of the shoe. This sneaker has been the creation of the exploding past in the future. The update of legends of ancient times.

To find inspiring textures, sails of the ships, and the ink for an adequate footing.

03 INK EXPERIMENTATION The infiltration of the ink inside a transparent liquid creates a specatular effect that we have tried to reproduce.

04 EFFECT RESEARCHED We are still looking for how to spread ink in a sole by keeping this desired artistic effect.
