A very flexible frame for the utmost comfort which is highly adjustable to accommodate a baby's rapid growth.

The 3513 frame is recommended for newborn babies up to approximately 6 months old while the 3713 frame is for babies approximately 6 months to 1 year old and the 39 14 up to approximately 2 years old.

As a baby’s face shape will grow during their early years, the TBAC range is highly adjustable and will accommodate these changes. The TBAC frame can be used with high powered lenses from -25 diopters through to +33 diopters. The baby frames can be adjusted along the horizontal and

vertical axis. With 5 positions available to attach the nose pads, the nose pad height can be adjusted to provide the correct position.

There are 3 different sized nose pads that can change the distance of the frames between the eyes and lenses. The flexible temples, comfortable ear tips and headband ensures the frame remains in place when babies are lying down or breast feeding.

There are 3 different sizes of nose pads that can decide the distance between the eyes and lenses.

Nose pad fitting kit

Further research has indicated the need to cater for a variety of nose shapes. We have therefore developed a range of different sized nose pads, Baby fit (B1, B2, B3), Asian fit (A1, A2, A3) and Wide fit (W1, W2, W3). All nose pads are interchangeable on frames and the fitting kit stores all nine sizes of nose pad. This kit will allow optometrists and opticians to custom fit the frames to each child therefore offering the best customer service.

Our Reserch and Development team have created a Spacer Kit. It is designed to create space between the lenses and a child’s eyelashes or face when using high powered lenses.

The Relationship between the types of nose pads and fitting results

If the frame sits too far away from a child's eyes, a wider nose pad should be used ( e.g. replace a W1 for a W3 nose pad). If the frame sits too close to eyelashes then the above spacer kit can be used to create a greater space. FOR INFANTS (B1, B2, B3), PLEASE REPLACE IT WITH THE LOWER NUMBER.

Accessories are included in the Tomato Glasses cassette. The Baby frames have more accessories in their pack. Very convenient for storing parts. In the UK this is usually kept by the optician.
