MAESTRO Tomatis® Maestro are your personal headphones of the Tomatis® Method. It is an original technological device that stimulates the brain in three ways:

Bone conduction Sound is transmitted to you through the speakers and via bone conduction in the arch of the headphones. It is therefore important that the headphones maintain good contact with the top of your head.

Air conduction Sound travels through air conduction into the ear canal, causing the eardrums to vibrate. These vibrations are then transmitted to the small bones in the inner ear, which relay the signal to the brain, where it is perceived as sound.

Audio-vocal work The sound is processed through a dynamic filter system, so you perceive the music or your voice with modified sound contrasts and effects.

The Maestro Pack includes the headphones, a carry case, and a USB-C charging cable.

Our Tomatis® Professional will create an exclusive listening program based on your individual needs. Throughout the sessions, you’ll utilize Maestro, either at the Tomatis® Center or in the convenience of your home. Each program typically extends in four loops for 60 minutes per day across a 14-day period.

Harness the audio-vocal training function to fortify language, communication, and learning prowess.

Optimal usage involves dedicating a few minutes daily for several days: 5 minutes for children, 10 minutes for adults, or as directed by your Tomatis® Professional.

Engage in reading, singing, or speaking activities.

YOUR LISTENING PROGRAM 1

TEQ (TOMATIS® EVALUATION QUESTIONNAIRE) To begin Tomatis® Method program, you’ll need to fill out the TEQ preliminary evaluation questionnaire sent by your Tomatis® Practitioner via email. This online platform assesses various aspects such as behavior, emotions, language, attention, balance, coordination, and more.

Time taken: Approx. 30 minutes

PRELIMINARY INTERVIEW Following is an interview with a Tomatis® Professional who will discuss the TEQ results and may assess your complete listening profile using the Tomatis® Listening Test (TLT). The TLT evaluates the ear-to-brain connection’s effectiveness in processing auditory information. Emotional factors, trauma, or stress can impact effective listening.

Time taken: Approx. 2 hours

INTENSIVE LISTENING & AUDIO-VOCAL SESSIONS Our Tomatis® professional will customize an exclusive listening program based on your individual needs. During the listening and audio-vocal sessions, you will use the Maestro headphones, either at the Tomatis® Center or Clinic or in the comfort of your own home.

CONSOLIDATION PROGRAM After completing the listening sessions, a Tomatis® professional typically advises a 4-week consolidation phase to allow the intensive listening experience to fully integrate. This period is crucial for continuing to stimulate the ear and brain, maximizing the benefits.

INTERMEDIARY OR EXIT INTERVIEW Following every session with a break of around 4 weeks, you and/or your child will undergo an interim interview and assessment. Based on the results of this evaluation, a decision will be made regarding the continuation of the program, as well as the scheduling of new listening sessions.

Troubleshooting - Connection to STUDIO The device could not connect to the STUDIO platform.

Ensure that the «USB CONNECTED» logo is displayed when the USB cable is plugged in.

The display becomes black/frozen/ hangs during the Studio platform connection.

Press and hold the button for 10 seconds to force the device to turn off. Then press the button again. Before connecting, ensure the «USB CONNECTED» logo is displayed when the USB cable is plugged in.

Troubleshooting - Bluetooth Maestro is not discoverable via Bluetooth.

If changes do not take effect, try rebooting the device by holding the button for 10 seconds to power it off, then press the button again to turn it back on. Also, ensure that your Bluetooth source device is properly connected.

I cannot hear music from the Bluetooth.

Ensure the Bluetooth source is playing, and the volume is not muted.

I was unable to hear music after the Bluetooth connection was lost.

To pair a new device, the current device must be reset. Press and hold the button for 10 seconds to turn it off, and then press the button again.

Precautions for use

Limitations and disclaimer

Volume: Use the default volume unless you have a hearing disorder or hyperacusis. The volume should not be uncomfortable. If you are adjusting the volume for a child, make sure it is not too loud.

Duration: Use headphones according to your personalized programs uploaded by your Tomatis® Professional. Do not make more than one “day session” in a day.

Discomfort: If you feel pain or discomfort, immediately stop using the headphones. We advise you to contact your Tomatis® Professional to better understand the reasons for this discomfort and to start using the headphones again once you feel better.

Children: Children must use the headphones under constant adult supervision.

If you are accompanied by a Tomatis® Professional, always give priority to his/her instructions.

These headphones are not suitable for use with any sensory stimulation training program other than the Tomatis® Method.

Tomatis® Maestro is a natural and non-invasive educational tool. It is not meant for treatment of a known disease, nor is it a meant to formulate a diagnosis for any medical or psychological disorder, nor is it a therapeutic or medical device.

It is not approved by Federal Drug Administration in the USA or any other national regulatory authorities for medical products.

Storage and maintenance

Store the headphones in a cool and dry place and clean them with a soft dry cloth. The working temperature should be 0~45°C (32~113°F). Working in cold/hot environments or highly humid areas will reduce the battery life. The headphones are not water resistant and can’t be submerged under water.

If you need to return a product under warranty, please send a detailed explanation describing the problem to: care@tomatis.com and simply wait for the instructions.

MAESTRO Tomatis® Maestro est votre casque personnel de la Méthode Tomatis®. Il s’agit d’un dispositif technologique original qui stimule le cerveau de trois manières :

Conduction osseuse Le son vous est transmis par les haut-parleurs et par conduction osseuse dans l’arceau du casque. Il est donc important que le casque touche bien le sommet de votre tête.

Conduction aérienne Le son se propage par conduction aérienne dans le conduit auditif, ce qui fait vibrer les tympans. Ces vibrations sont ensuite transmises aux petits os de l’oreille interne, qui relaient le signal au cerveau, où il est perçu comme un son.

Travail audio-vocal Le son est traité par un système de filtre dynamique, de sorte que vous percevez la musique ou votre voix avec des contrastes et des effets sonores modifiés.

Le pack Maestro comprend le casque, un étui de transport et un câble de charge USB-C.

Votre Praticien Tomatis® créera un programme d’écoute exclusif basé sur les besoins qui vous sont propres. Tout au long des sessions, vous utiliserez Maestro, soit au centre Tomatis®, soit à votre domicile.

Chaque programme se déroule en général sur quatre sessions à raison de 60 minutes par jour sur une période de 14 jours.

La fonction d’entraînement audio-vocal permet de renforcer les capacités de langage, de communication et d’apprentissage. L’utilisation optimale consiste à consacrer quelques minutes par jour pendant plusieurs jours : 5 minutes pour les enfants, 10 minutes pour les adultes, ou selon les indications de votre professionnel Tomatis®. Assurez-vous que le logo «USB CONNECTED» s’affiche lorsque le câble USB est branché.

L’écran devient noir/se fige/se bloque pendant la connexion à la plateforme Studio.

Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation et maintenez-le enfoncé pendant 10 secondes pour forcer l’appareil à s’éteindre. Appuyez ensuite à nouveau sur le bouton. Avant de procéder à la connexion, assurez-vous que le logo «USB CONNECTED» s’affiche lorsque le câble USD est branché.

Dépannage - Bluetooth Maestro n’est pas détectable via Bluetooth.

Un redémarrage peut être nécessaire (appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation pendant 10 secondes pour l’éteindre, puis appuyez à nouveau sur la touche) pour que les modifications prennent effet. Veuillez également vérifier l’appareil Bluetooth source.

Je n’entends pas la musique provenant du Bluetooth.

Assurez-vous que la source Bluetooth est en cours de lecture et que le volume n’est pas coupé.

Je n’ai pas pu écouter de musique après la perte de la connexion Bluetooth.

MAESTRO Los Tomatis® Maestro son sus cascos personales del Método Tomatis®. Se trata de un dispositivo tecnológico original que estimula el cerebro de tres maneras:

Conducción ósea El sonido, además de llegar a través de los altavoces, se transmite por conducción ósea mediante el arco de los cascos. Por eso es importante que los cascos mantengan un buen contacto con la parte superior de la cabeza.

Conducción aérea El sonido llega al conducto auditivo por conducción aérea y hace vibrar los tímpanos. Estas vibraciones se transmiten a los huesecillos del oído interno, que envían la señal al cerebro, donde se percibe como sonido.

Trabajo audiovocal El sonido se procesa mediante un sistema de filtro dinámico, para que perciba la música o su voz con contrastes y efectos de sonido modificados.

El Maestro Pack incluye los cascos, una funda de transporte y un cable de carga USB-C.

LAS DOS FUNCIONES DE LOS CASCOS

Función de escucha musical: su programa de escucha personalizado El profesional Tomatis® creará un programa de escucha exclusivo basado en sus necesidades individuales. A lo largo de las sesiones, usted utilizará Maestro, ya sea en un centro Tomatis® o en la comodidad de su hogar.

Normalmente, cada programa se desarrolla en cuatro sesiones de 14 días, a razón de 60 minutos al día.

Función audiovocal: entrene su propia voz Aproveche la función de entrenamiento audiovocal para consolidar sus destrezas lingüística, comunicativa y de aprendizaje. Este paso consiste en una entrevista con un profesional Tomatis®, que analizará los resultados del TEQ y podrá evaluar su perfil auditivo completo mediante el test de escucha Tomatis® (TLT). El TLT evalúa la eficacia de la conexión entre el oído y el cerebro para procesar la información auditiva. Los factores emocionales, los traumas o el estrés pueden afectar a la eficacia de la escucha.

MAESTRO Tomatis® Maestro sunt căștile dumneavoasrtă personale ale metodei Tomatis®. Este un dispozitiv tehnologic original care stimulează creierul în trei moduri:

Conducție osoasă Sunetul vă este transmis prin difuzoare și prin conducție osoasă în arcada căștilor. Prin urmare, este important ca căștile să mențină un contact bun cu partea superioară a capului.

НАУШНИКИ MAESTRO Tomatis® Maestro — это ваши личные наушники для занятий по Методу Tomatis®. Это оригинальное техническое устройство, которое стимулирует мозг тремя способами:

Функция прослушивания музыки: ваша индивидуальная программа аудирования Наш Специалист Tomatis® создаст эксклюзивную программу аудирования, основанную на ваших индивидуальных потребностях. Сеансы занятий по Методу Tomatis® с наушниками Maestro проводятся в центре Tomatis® или в домашних условиях. Каждая программа обычно состоит из четырех циклов продолжительностью 60 минут и предназначена для ежедневных занятий в течение 14 дней.

MAESTRO Tomatis® Maestro ist Ihr persönlicher Kopfhörer der Tomatis®-Methode. Es handelt sich um ein einzigartiges technisches Gerät, das das Gehirn auf drei Arten stimuliert:

Knochenleitung Der Schall wird über die Lautsprecher und über die Knochenleitung im Bügel des Kopfhörers an Sie übertragen. Daher ist es wichtig, dass der Kopfhörer guten Kontakt mit Ihrem Kopf hat.

MAESTRO Tomatis® Maestro sono le vostre cuffie personali del Metodo Tomatis®. Si tratta di un dispositivo tecnologico originale che stimola il cervello in tre modi:

Conduzione ossea Il suono vi viene trasmesso attraverso gli altoparlanti e tramite conduzione ossea nell’arco delle cuffie. È quindi importante che le cuffie mantengano un buon contatto con la parte superiore della testa.

Conduzione aerea Il suono viaggia attraverso la conduzione aerea nel condotto uditivo, provocando la vibrazione dei timpani.

Queste vibrazioni vengono poi trasmesse alle piccole ossa dell’orecchio interno, che trasmettono il segnale al cervello, dove viene percepito come suono.

Risoluzione dei problemi - Connessione a STUDIO Il dispositivo non è riuscito a connettersi alla piattaforma STUDIO.

Assicurarsi che il logo «USB CONNECTED» sia visualizzato quando il cavo USB è collegato.

Il display diventa nero/si blocca/si congela durante la connessione alla piattaforma Studio.

Tenere premuto il pulsante per 10 secondi per forzare lo spegnimento del dispositivo.

Quindi premere nuovamente il pulsante. Prima di effettuare la connessione, assicurarsi che il logo «USB CONNECTED» sia visualizzato quando il cavo USB è collegato.

Precauzioni d’uso

Volume: utilizzare il volume predefinito, a meno che non si soffra di disturbi dell’udito o iperacusia. Il volume non deve risultare fastidioso.

Se si regola il volume per un bambino, assicurarsi che non sia troppo alto.

Durata: utilizzare le cuffie secondo i programmi personalizzati caricati dal proprio professionista Tomatis®. Non effettuare più di una “sessione giornaliera” al giorno.

Fastidio: se si avverte dolore o fastidio, interrompere immediatamente l’uso delle cuffie. Si consiglia di contattare il proprio professionista Tomatis® per comprendere meglio le ragioni di questo fastidio e ricominciare a utilizzare le cuffie una volta che ci si sente meglio.

Bambini: i bambini devono utilizzare le cuffie sotto la costante supervisione di un adulto.

Se siete seguiti da un professionista Tomatis®, date sempre la priorità alle sue istruzioni.

Queste cuffie non sono adatte all’uso con programmi di stimolazione sensoriale diversi dal Metodo Tomatis®.

Conservare le cuffie in un luogo fresco e asciutto e pulirle con un panno morbido e asciutto. La temperatura di funzionamento deve essere compresa tra 0 e 45 °C (32113 °F). L’utilizzo in ambienti freddi/caldi o in zone molto umide riduce la durata della batteria. Le cuffie non sono resistenti all’acqua e non possono essere immerse in acqua.
