“The students in my class made pinecone bird feeders Jan 5, which is National Bird Day. They worked as partners to spread peanut butter and then cover the pinecones in bird seed. We then hung the feeders in our school’s woods where we also go to play on a weekly basis. It was a beautiful winter day!” -Mrs. Crego, LaGrange Elementary 4K

Black River State Forest Candlelight Ski/Hike/Snowshoe Saturday, February 4, 2023 5:30-8:30 PM Black River State Forest Smrekar Parking Lot 4 Miles East of Millston WI off County Road O 1.5 Miles of Ski Trails and 1 Mile Of Snowshoe/Hiking Trails Lit With Luminaries. Warm up around a large bonfire or in the indoor heated shelter. Hot Chocolate/Food Will Be Sold. Donations Accepted Come Enjoy a Winter Evening on the Forest Trails Sponsored by the Black River State Forest and the Black River Forest Trail Foundation.
