HAPPENING IN OUR DISTRICT

“Last week, both Warrens and Noah’s Ark 4K TimberPups got to go to Moseley’s Roadside Market. We got to look for signs that fall was here on the wagon ride they gave us...we saw apples, leaves on the ground, leaves changing colors, and of course the PUMPKINS! During our wagon ride, we got to pick out our very own pumpkins to take home with us. They were all super excited and some thought they were much stronger than they were, but by the end they picked the best one for them. Thank you, Moseley’s, for letting us come pick out our pumpkins and the wagon ride!” - Ms. Betsy Schultz, Warrens/Noah’s Ark

THS Senior, Drew Brookman set two school records this season - with one game left to play!

Career receiving yardage:

Drew Brookman (2020-2022)- 1,477 yards

Kyle Kroener (2015-2017)- 1,460 yards

Career receiving touchdowns:

Drew Brookman (2020-2022)- 19

Cole Franklin (2009-2011)- 16

Tito’s Table

Dear Community Member,

We are reaching out to you from Tomah Middle school regarding the program called Tito’s Table, formerly known as Spirit of Giving Over the past years, this program has brought joy to our students and their families through purchasing gifts and hygiene items. This year our goal is to provide at least 60 district families with a winter meal through the holiday break. Our hope is to have a district wide impact to support an entire family, bringing the family to the table for a meal that everyone can enjoy.

Items that we are requesting: (Please no expired cans or foods)

• Canned goods: green beans, carrots, corn, sweet potatoes yams, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, gravy, cranberry sauce, canned fruit, diced tomatoes, soup, canned vegetables

• Boxed goods: Macaroni and cheese, potatoes, brownies, mashed potatoes, stove top stuffing, boxed meals, pasta and rice meals

• Cold goods: Milk, butter, eggs (please sign up to bring these so we know how much room to have for them)

• Miscellaneous: Coffee, creamer, frosting, juice

• New Blankets & New Board games and/or card games, New gloves, new winter hats

• Cash donations (made payable to TMS): These would be used to purchase bigger items such as hams or turkeys. We would also use this to purchase any of the above items that are needed, and/or specific items that we have been told a student needs.

• Donations can be mailed to:

• Tomah Middle School

• Attn: Counseling Office

• 612 Hollister Ave

• Tomah, WI 54660

*Please list “Titos Table” on the Memo line.

Donations can also be dropped off at the Tomah Middle School Counseling Office (to your right when you come in the main entrance). They can be brought in on any school day from 7:30 3:45, and we would need them prior to December 11th.

Should you have any questions regarding this program please feel free to contact us at 374-7887. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Tomah Middle School Counseling Office Staff: Lisa King, Kamra Duncan, Sara Breitsprecher
